Thank you! It's actually not a replacer at all. It's Vilja as she comes from the mod, using Bijin skin textures. Her hair is lore friendly hair but brightened a bit.
Hmm. I wonder if it would be feasible to adapt this into a cameo-locket mod, such that people can "snapshot" their in-game spouse, while in-game, and have it appear on the pendant? I'm sure that would be super-popular with the romance-gaming crowd (and probably with "follower nuts" like me -- one could also use it to put the player's face on followers' pendants as livery or something).
Are you suggesting I start photoshopping people's characters on amulets? That's not what I had in mind for this. Nice suggestion but not something I wanna pursue. Once I have flattened the model it's definitely possible to release the model so people can do it themselves though
Right. I mean something for people to do themselves as they're playing, though I'm not sure there's any way to automate this in-game. I'm honestly not sure how this works at all yet. Need to dig around in the guts of it. My guessuption is that it's got a little head mesh inside it and is using head texture resources, so in theory a script could get them for whatever actor one cast some locket spell on. In theory ...
I doubt it is that easy. I did this manually. An npc are indeed made up of a head mesh and accompanying textures but it's not as simple like cutting out a circle from a photo and slapping it onto the amulet texture. Doubt you can even automate something like that when it's faster and easier to do it manually. Just requires some leg work.
Also, each character is made from different parts, overlays, clothing items etc. Would be an outright nightmare to tinker with
