Hi, I wanted to say that you have made an amazing tool for this issue, going on to fix one of the three major issues I have with using the mouse in any Bethesda game. But I have a small little feature request.

If it's not too hard, I would like to be able to Minimize the application to the notification area rather than the task bar, so that i can keep it open in the background with out it taking a spot on the task bar constantly. I'm using something called RBTray to do it, but it would be nice to have it as a feature natively.

Hey! Sorry for the delayed response. Truth is, while it'd be relatively simple to do that, and I'd be happy to do it, I don't exactly have a Windows development environment anymore, ever since I wiped it and switched over to Linux. In hindsight, I should have kept a small minimal Windows partition to maintain my existing tools.

That being said, I intend on creating a Windows VM and continuing that way, although it'll take a bit of time, since disk space is a bit of luxury at the moment. There's a lot of data to sift through which has been a thorn in my side for a while that I keep putting off, but it seems that approach keeps coming back to bite me lol

In short: sure can do, but it might take some time.

to be fair i'm sure you could alwais use a virtual machine as they are easy to set up and are not the worst way to work. of course i say this but having barely the minimum in proclamation, i don't really know how well it'd work for this specific project. either way i know it's a tad late to post this but have a good day.

Having an issue that this doesn't seem to work with skyrim anymore. I specifically got it because I play Skyrim with borderless fullscreen mode, and I set it to hotkey mode so I can alt-tab if I need to. But it doesn't seem to work anymore on Skyrim, any advice?

Is there any reason this program keeps closing itself from time to time? Am i not allowed to alt-tab often with the program in Foreground Window Title mode?

There is a more convenient alternative. Borderless gaming. You can bind any number of applications, it is more convenient to bind applications in general (I used your program myself, but it is wildly inconvenient when you open a folder with a game, and my cursor sticks to it, I bound it by name, other options for some reason did not work normally), and in the settings there is a function for binding the cursor to the window by pressing one button. And don't forget that your program retains the icon of the running program, and BG is minimized to the tray

The program works absolutely wonderful, but I have a quick question. Whenever I switch into Skyrim (or have Curser Locker behind literally any other application), any hotkey I set no longer responds to the app. Previously (like, within the last five days), this was not an issue. Could this have to do with a recent Windows update, or maybe a setting on my computer that I need to check?

This works well but it keeps changing what I think is my mouse dpi settings. With this running my mouse seems to go from high dpi to low dpi at random. Changing the mouse sensitivity in the game settings has a drastic effect even with the smallest of changes.

Is there a way to launch this with SKSE via ModOrganizer or any other way in just a single click?

Late reply, but yes, this is technically game-agnostic. It's a piece of software that I originally programmed to solve this age old problem with Skyrim, but there's nothing that ties it to Skyrim, or any specific game for that matter. It was born to solve the problem in Skyrim, and the initial (not user friendly at all) versions were specific to Skyrim, but as of the latest version, you can use it to confine your cursor to the boundaries of any game window.. or well, any window really, a game window is no different than any other window, and there are plenty of other games that suffer from similar, or worse, don't even bother to prevent the cursor from clicking on things outside the game window, not just scroll.

There is a toggle in Windows' settings that prevents scrolling windows that aren't focused, but that isn't a solution, since that is an intended feature of Windows, and a useful one at that. The problem stems from the fact that the cursor is just freely floating around invisibly in the background while playing Skyrim, when it should never be leaving the game window at all when the game is focused. This just allows you to confine it yourself, with different triggers to activate/deactivate the confinement. That's pretty much it. You could technically confine your cursor to notepad.exe while you have notepad focused, if you really wanted to. That's why I never bothered re-uploading it to SE/AE's mod section, since it doesn't really matter which window you confine the cursor to; the only reason it's here is because it was originally intended for Skyrim, but has since grown to be universal (think Mod Organizer).
