I wanted to make him look extra gritty so I layered up the shaggiest beard and deep scars. Brooding lighting for a brooding knight :)
I love the main picture and the King Conan pose (or Ulfric pose on the throne).
The pose, the expression, the armor, the colors, the framing, the field of view with the blurry effect on the background etc.

I was really going for a regal look, a bored king itching to find glory on the battlefield. I like to think he has a certain gravitas with his stern expression and solemn poses. Thanks again.
I have a habit of overusing that armour but it is my favourite. I tried to spice it up a little with the chainmail coif and the shoulder fur.
Beautiful colors.
There's something attractive about stoicism, I find. :)
