Nice scenaries and inviting landscapes.
Was a bit surprised to see Wulver learning the Whirlwind Sprint. Thought he was quite advanced in the main quest.
Wulver has done all the main quests and DLC's - have been playing him for almost 4 years now. He had just finished Dragonborn and Solstheim when my new PC came in. For various reasons I restarted him on the new PC. Game-wise he is redoing the main content. There is also a lot of vanilla side content I have never done, even after 11 years, so he will be doing some old and new stuff.
Story-wise he is picking up where he left off from his last story. His vampire friend is looking into repaying Hircine for his favor and once he figures out what is happening then Wulver and Thrynn will join him. For now they are doing random jobs for the guild as well as their own adventures.
So game wise they are in High Hrothgar on the quest line but story wise he is just visiting his friends in Ivarstead and helping out Klemmek and visiting the monks he knows at the top. The gray beards are fascinated with Wulver because of the tattoo under his eye which is in the one true language of Dragons and Creation and that the tattoo lets him learn shouts.
Your DoF is just killing it - awesome.
The main pic is a quite special one - but this one is my personal favorite:
lot of wholes in his headgear ... although for obvious reasons he
doesn't wear any helmets or the like.
very nicely told picture story.
Your title reminded of the waters of Styx, a border between the upper world and the underworld in Greek mythology.
I believe that is where the mod author of the wolf companion mod, Styx, got the name for the wolf. A necromancer fooling with powers they shouldn't have been created Styx (per the mod lore) hence the ghostly form. He also has some other forms he can take though.
It's incredibly beautiful.
