The words and the stories will always be within you, dear Kayol. You only need to remember not to let them consume you completely or else the flow starts to feel like an obligation or you'll get sick of them. You've done so many chapters and tales here at Nexus, it amazes me you're still going on strongly, and therefor I'd say it's more than okay if you only feel like sitting in the dark for a while. As I've said many times before, I've given my writing here a few tries too, but it always turns into short attempts before I've lost the spirit of words. Of course, in my case the screen archery has truly excelled lately and it gives me equally as much joy as any writing...but still, writing stories came into my life long before any kind of image art.

What I'm trying to say is, you've more than well earned your rest from the words. If you feel they longer speaks to you, then let them fade into the shadows just as you will do yourself, and I'm sure they will find their way back eventually. There's no need for rushing it or any worries. The darkness can be a great source of inspiration too, so it's not only for hiding or being unseen, but most importantly, you decide when or if you're ready for new tales to tell, not the very writing itself.

    Sleep well!

Wouldn't say a hundred shorties in five years is really that much, but I get your point. Writing is demanding, even if it's just fanfiction. So, I'm sticking to sleeping the block over for now.
      Thanks for the comment!

I caught up with the story! ^-^ Both the previous and this parts are superb, your works are like diamonds, a marvel to behold *-* I can't help but imagine all types of reunion scene coming next, and, obviously, the mystery of dead Greybeards is thought-provoking *-*

I hope you'll get through weird times, more strong and happy than ever before. If you need someone to talk about this, I'm always here for you! ^-^

Aww, thank you ever so much, sweetie!

I've had a couple of episodes planned ahead for quite some time. If only they were so kind and wrote themselves... that would be perfect.

The tension has been built up and... a cliffhanger
Uncommonly illustrated text. I really like that there is only a small part of the action visible.

Well, I have a feeling that your next installment is worth waiting for even a long while
I'm with you feeling the wind is getting colder every day now. But maybe it'll be a good time to think things through a bit and carry on when the nature will start waking up again.

I guess y'all just have to... hang in there. *dons shades*

Believe it or not, but I actually love this season to bits and usually thrive on cold weather. This time is different, and that's weird as heck. I guess I'll have to wait and see - maybe the will to write will come back with the sun

Quite the cliff-hanger to leave everyone on as you bow out of writing - but better to leave with a bang with people wanting more ;) Can be easy to get burned out on the writing I find - for different reasons but ends up the same. Take a break and see what develops.

Great chapter and images with lots more questions - pretty dark but intense what they found at HH.

I hope you find some of the peace you seek.

It's not a break, it's more like a hasty retreat! But very much needed, nonetheless.
Thanks for the comment and see ya when springs bleeds into winter!

Pity I can't get inspired by them myself, huh? Thanks for the comment, it means a lot.
Oh, and I agree - Alerik can make any outfit work!
