Well i love to get lost!
But just in videogames, also just if i'm not doing a quest or searching for something...
Your images are awesome, a truly master class of screen archery!
Are all of this images achieved with the same enb?
Because they are all so different and that's something also liked about the set...

Thank you! Yep, all Caffeine ENB. The LUT system it includes was ported over from Snapdragon. Both are excellent, diverse ENBs good for tuning things down and playing the game and then turning everything up to eleven for screen-archery. Neither is especially realistic, but if you like bright colors, diverse color-grading options, and fantastic depth of field options, you'll dig 'em.

Thanks! Will do. I've tried a lot of grass mods over the years, but I think I like yours best for that combination of lushness and verisimilitude.

Skyrim looks so grand in your images! Huge, broad, very easy to get lost in. Beautiful set, the images are top-notch.

Thank you muchly! That's what I love about this game-world. No patch on the real thing, but still a fun place to go rambling when the daylight runs out.

Beautifull images, really like what you did with the theme and how you worked that into the images,... it feels like one story alltogether with a touch of sadness attached to it,..

Thank you! I'm pretty fond of pulling the camera way back so that the focal character almost disappears into the landscape. Skyrim must be full of adventurers (at least three...) but it's vast enough that they get swallowed up in the big country. When I go off into the woods in real life, I prefer to stay off-trail and navigate the old-fashioned way, and I tend to make pretty similar choices in the game world. Landscapes have a way about them that you only really get a sense of when you're willing to meet them on their own terms.

This is a very wonderful visual essay on the majesty of this game if one just takes the time to look for it.. The images are superb and make the statement beautifully

I always enjoy getting lost in Skyrim. Even after all this years I still discover things I didn't see before. Like the chicken with the golden egg.

I wanted to pick a favourite but couldn't, these screenshots are all awesome.

Thanks! Yeah, Skyrim is one of the best-implemented open-worlds I've yet seen. Still looks pretty sharp with some modern modding gloss. One of these days I'll get back on the beaten path and actually finish the main questline...

There is many a good time or bad time to get lost, believe me. Getting lost is a requirement of being a mother who just needs five minutes alone in the bathroom in a hot tub full of bubbles, a kid who does not want to return home with a failing mark on a test because they refused to study and instead went to that party, a husband who will not look at the map though he knows he should but won't because he wants to prove a point. Have you gotten lost in Skyrim my friend? It is a very majestic place, full of some remarkably beautiful vistas that can easily overwhelm you as this images did. Nice

Couldn't agree more! That whole Taoist concept of the "pathless path" (whether called "chapel perilous" or "the dark wood" or "the road less traveled" in the Western mythic frame of reference) necessary to understanding/enlightenment/respite/clean feet makes a lot of sense to me. I used to work as a field agent for the Navajo Nation Department of Fish & Wildlife, a job that had me out in the desert tracking various critters and conducting plant surveys up mesas and down canyons way out in the backcountry of the rez. Some of my most 'wide-awake' moments were in that country, off clocks (there's a funny situation where three adjacent nations, the Diné/Navajo, Hopi, and USA all use different time-zones and approaches to daylight savings, such that figuring out what time it 'is' at any point along any of the intersecting border regions is pretty much hopeless), off any accurate portion of the map. When all the dross of supposing you know what a place is or ought to be has been done away with, you can get to know that landscape one-to-one, a human-being person to a coyote person or a piñon person or a sandstorm person. Took me getting lost in the desert to learn how to find my feet on the good ground anywhere else in the world.

Anyway, the quotations were from the base game and Kris Takahashi's ode to it (https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/8429). Is there ever a good time to get lost? Always- in Skyrim as in life.
