Wonderful new addition - a mix of serious, humor, and a little sadness (but then all your stories, almost, tend to have that) mixed into one. Like the other person I think you should write a book. You are more than just a simple fan fiction writer regardless of what you wrote in reply. You have a very distinct voice in writing that you don't always see in authors. They have their style but having read thousands of books in my life I know some really stand out and others blend in. I like both mind you. I love simple adventure books with fantasy even if the author isn't a master at the craft. As long as its interesting to me to read and I enjoy the content, and there is no glaring writing issues, it is all good.

A favorite author (http://www.lemodesittjr.com/the-books/saga-recluce/), Modesitt, has a very distinct style. Usually first person only, well crafted, detailed, almost methodical writing yet entertaining (to me). It isn't a constant roller coasted or action packed but more thoughts and character development and interactions. Hard to explain. But your writing reminds me a little of that in the sense you don't do a lot of action. You, to me, come off as almost poetic in your writing. Poetic like prose with philosophy and lots of inner thinking. Loaded with metaphors, sprinkled with allegories, dusted with similes, packed with allusions, and tinted with sadness and melancholy.

Anyhow good story here and enjoyed the read and images :)

It would be very conceited (not to mention self-centered) on my part to argue with you regarding my writing skills, so all I can really say is that I'm very flattered you enjoy these stories of mine. I write them simply to relax and quiet my mind - and if they can bring other people some entertainment, it's even better.
Oh, and thanks for the new author to check out! I didn't read anything by Modesitt, but his style sounds like something right up my alley. Reminds me a bit of Patrick Rothfuss; I discovered him recently, his books are also quite character-centered (if a bit pretentious - but who am I to complain about this? ). You should definitely check him out if you haven't already known him.

Thank you for the comment, as always!

I discovered him through Acquisitions Incorporated - his DnD character speaks in a very different voice than the ones in his books, by the way

I really liked that moment between Saga and Larkspur, how you described the quiet cozy place in which they stood, how at the same moment they were discussing decisions of considerable weight, that contrast brought out both aspects nicely. It is also interesting to see the wisdom that they had both learned in their adventures, that desire Saga had not to run from things as she once had, it is also good to see that Galla is the most important thing of all to both of them. And once again it is nice to see a glimpse of Galla's adventures with her companions, she is right to wonder why she has not had any news despite her sending regular letters. The lack of letters seems to have affected Alerik more, he seems to have much on his mind, enough to reach out to Lydia. Wonderful work, my friend

      Yay, glad you liked it!
I thought (only for a moment - thinking makes my brain hurt ) how my not-so-dynamic duo would deal with having a child and decided that this particular attitude would suit them best. Galla is a personification of peace and stability in their life, something they both lacked for very long, so no wonder her safety was their priority at that point. Still, Saga's track record with making bad decisions demanded that she felt unsure, especially since she felt that she owed Balgruuf.
Yeah, I think Galla, sitting on her fluffy cloud of obliviousness, didn't necessarily got too worried - what could possibly go wrong? As for Alerik - we shall wait and see.
Thank you for reading and commenting, always a pleasure to hear from you!

I like summer rain, too! Or at least I would like it if I wasn't so worried about my makeup smudging...

      Thanks for the comment!

Wow have you ever thought about writing a novel? Your skills are off the charts, the pictures speak a thousand words here and each of them have a story to tell. Your vocabulary and literature on your writings also paint a picture. These are epically done my friend

Nah, there are way too many poorly written books as it is, I'd rather not add my own to the mix But I'm really flattered you think I could pull it off, thank you!

And thanks for commenting, of course

As for Alerik's letter - it'll all become clear... or not, since I couldn't write a single straightforward sentence even if my life depended on it
