I like, how he comes home when he meets Erik again. He is now the strong one, the safety harbour for Grim and it's good to know, that there are no doubts between them ... together they will be strong enought to master this challenge and I think, Grim will grow on this
Excellent chapter and illustrations especially the shots of Erik lying down in the inn - the images are very warm and the textures are soft and make for a cozy scene.
This weekend I found the time to read all the previous chapters including the prolog. Well I need some time to read, because I have to take some help of an online dictionary.
It´s very interesting and I´m excitingly waiting how your story continues.
Great images. Especially the one of Erik. A man to fall in love with.
Fenrir Wolf, in mythology, is the son of Loki and Loki is anything but honorable. He loves trickery, schemes, and underhanded things. That is why Fenrir is also known as the Trickster Wolf, among other titles. Of course I made Fenrir a Guardian of Nirn and he is more neutral in alignment (somewhere between TN and NG I would say) in my world and lore. Skoll is the other side of the equation for these two twins - and takes after that slippery, sly, and clever side that is part of Fenrir.
Grim has a little of that as well but he uses trickery and stealth and subterfuge mainly for good and to help people and Nirn.
To me they seem selfish and only out for themselves and I wonder if it is not just Grim that they would take from. If I was the old wolf I would wonder when they will set their sight on his realm next.
Great shots and amazing chapter Jon. :)
Well in the defense of Hati and Skoll they are all wolf (well mix of divine wolf and mortal wolf) while Grim is half-wolf and half-human. They care only about their own pack. They see Grim as a rival, like another alpha, so that is why they are adversaries. Likewise with their Father, an old alpha. That being said they are not playing totally fair like true wolves will do (meaning an honest fight) and I suspect some of that is the 1500 years they spent in oblivion and the fact they have some divine heritage. Still they turned their back on the mortal world centuries ago while Grim embraced it and has always sought to protect it. Although he now feels he failed in that by not holding onto his role as Guardian and he is being plagued with guilt and doubt.
Nice story ! I want mooooore !
Thanks!
And that main shot
Loved the Story however,.. Enjoyed reading that the twins are not pure evil,.. Wich makes the Story All the more interesting.
I have plans for Hati and Skoll is all I can say...
