Not even going to ask what outfit that is because it's just... HERS! It will fit no one else, I'm sure of it.
She's hot. I mean it.
Well, first off thank you very much! Glad you do like the Outfit and her in it
Very much appreciated. In regards to which it is - well, your statement is very true. At this point in time it is precisely that - a personal mashup of several Bethesda Armors / Items to get her a personalized look after so many years of messing about with her story here ..
If you are interested below are, from memory, the parts I used:
The chest is the snow elf Armor Piece over the Nightingale Torso combined with a long-panty-shaped cut-out of the Ebony Chest Armor to close the gap the Nightingale had after removing the flapping pieces of wanna-be skirt around the waist..
The Belt is from the Ebony Mail, the Vials on it from one of the Dawnguard Armors .. the long mail coat is from Ulfric's Outfit combined with the fur lining from the Stalhrim Armor (Coat admittedly from the male version in the YarlClothesVar3 or something folder under clothing and using a retexture of it .. think Rustic Clothing).
The Gauntlets are a combination of the Steel Bracers and the Nightingale Gauntlets with the addition of one of the Dragonbone Armor Arm Rings and the Dawnguard DLC Vampire Ring moved over to the other hand.
The Boots are the default Vampire Boots from the Dawnguard DLC combined with another one of the Dragonbone Armor Arm Rings and one of the Tsun Armor arm-rings.
The Hood is a (admittedly not very clean, but not relevant since the neck-guard of the armor hides it) cut version of the Necromancer/Warlock hood in the Clothes Subfolders combined with the snowelf crown underneath.. the two Bat-Skulls are cut and moved around from the Dawnguard DLC Vampire Necklaces
And this turned into a much longer ramble than expected .. sorry about that
Aaaand yes I like her in that outfit but I'm sure I'd like in pretty much anything!
I personally think however that one can learn to do a heck of a lot of things with it in more or less no time in comparison to the more advanced tools out there .. there are a few tricky features (many of which I haven't really touched yet..) .. but overall I'd say with a bit of time it is really what it set out to be .. an easy to use modding tool for everybody ..
at least from my perspective as somebody who has spend more time than he'd like to admit fiddling around with it over the years
And once more, just because .. glad you do like her .. in regards to various outfits and looks .. well, there have been quite a lot of those over the years .. most of which are still burried somewhere in the image section here .. Though admittedly she has changed a heck of a lot over the years aswell .. anyways .. I start rambling again ..
I'm a sucker for black stuff so an outfit I'd create would probably end up looking like a large black blob I'm more encouraged now so I have you to thank for that... but yeah I'm definitely Kynthia's most giggly fangirl now.
but for the most part this was done purely with Outfit Studio's / Bodyslide's ZAP Slider function to cut the Armor's apart and recombine them again afterwards...
after that just a bit of fiddling trial and error process with the anim-bone-weight copy function of Outfit Studio (lucked out there and worked like a charm for all parts I wanted it to work with.. can be a bit of a pain in the *blank* ..) and it was done (apart from CK esp stuff)
It makes her look more badass i.m.o wich isn't necessaraly a bad thing,.
Great set and nice to see some work from you,...
Looks great Alex! But I do have a suggestion, well.. not really it looks awesome but it'd be interesting to see the coat coloured black, the snow elf cuirass, you could turn that grey and the outlines blood red. It would be fitting for someone like Kyn.
But even like this, it looks really really cool!
Glad you do like it - well, to be quite honest I was considering the "red/black" color scheme in the beginning (meaning I was trying to cobble together a chest-piece from the glowing bits of the Daedric Torso and the Ebony Mail) but decided against it ..
mainly because (and that might only be true for myself) any red/black scheme always reminds me of both daedric armor / daedra and the dark brotherhood .. both things Kyn wouldn't really associate with any more if at all possible due to her experiences with both .. But I do agree it would fit her "archtype" quite a bit indeed!
