Really enjoyed the thoughts and themes you brought up in this; and the way you presented them - Riverwood was a great choice for the never changing parts; and I really liked the way you compared how quick something can change to the Butterfly fluttering its wings... Wonderful to see Saga once more; very happy about that
Great Images aswell; and I do like the Song at the End..
By the way - you do realize this set would have never been created were it not for your encouraging message? Consider it yours, my friend. As a token of my gratitude.
Anyhow the sleepy little sitcom town that never changed reminded me a lot of how you described Riverwood. I thought it was perfectly done. You have always had such a way with words. Words in your skilled quill flow like a dancer, enticing, teasing, whirling, and twirling with elegance as they pull the reader into your thoughts and story. A true word smith and why I look forward to your wonderful stories.
Enjoyed the images very much as well as the words and they captured that safe, secure world of Riverwood with their innocent nature. Until the dream broke and reality stepped in. The darkness and shadow that is the other side of the coin. The images captured that as well.
Thanks for sharing some more of your work Kayol, always a pleasure!
I think I've seen a show similar to that - there was definitely a kid dragged into the world of some film (or a video game?)... I need to check that out, maybe I was unconsciously inspired by that idea.
Thank you a lot for your kind words!

:-)
You have been and most likely will always be..one of my most favorite posters... there is so much to your Work that I can relate to...its truly as if I can see the inner web of thought, the essence of the concept in its myriad of shades ( light to dark) ...and that my dear is a rare thing. I hope I have not embarrassed you with such high praise but I would be other than who I am if I were not to say. And believe me when I say, I could have said Much more....Thank you for sharing this amazing piece! Take care!
Very interesting, thoughtful artful work with awesome shots. when I saw the images on Flickr I admit, I became a bit scared for Saga, seeing her surrounded by skulls... good thing it was a dream. I laso enjoyed seeing young Saga childhood, she was such cute, carefree kid... sadly, no one can stay carefree forever, so she has new life, and it definitely not a life she had in Riverwood!
The parallel with butterfly was very interesting. I would be very curious to see Saga new adventures. since she had lots of work to do in Skyrim...
Thank you very much for your kind words!
You've clearly been missed.
And yes, it is good to be back.
