We three of the Deadly Serious team noticed something recently when preparing for Dawnguard. The standard resolution textures for doomfunk's excellent Shrouded Armor retexture were holding up well, but it looked like a good time to take a new stab at it. So doomfunk cracked open his modding toolkit and devoted a weekend to completely remastering it from scratch! He intends to upgrade the hood in the next version, after the HD 'beta phase' has your stamp of approval.

Unlike Bethsoft's HD retexture, our gloves were given a 1024x texture for those of you who like to get up close and personal with your contracts.

The next objectives are pretty clear to us: we need to make the rest of the dark brotherhood look as Deadly Serious as doomfunk has made the basic shrouded armor. We're discussing between we three how best to proceed on this objective.

For now, sharpen those daggers and enjoy the HD retexture of the shrouded armor, gloves, and boots. We hope you like the result.
