So it seems after this latest update you can't mod this game anymore (at the moment). Someone smarter than me will figure it out again though I'm sure. The AES Key still works sort of, I'm able to see the mods I have made in the game files but everything else is invisible so we are SOL for now.
Yes But not individually. If you edit one file (the camo for what you wear) then it applies to all 4 dudes and all the cut scene characters as well. But yeah you can do any camo pattern or none camo pattern you want (for ex. I got a olive drab and solid black camo for these guys that works.) I hope this answered your question.
