I have it in /home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/common/Dishonored atm. In said folder are the TFCInstaller, Engine, Dishonored Game, and Binaries folders. Also there are 2 files called installscript.vdf and vortex.deployment.dishonored-tfcinstaller.json.
Vortex is not supported on Linux, and neither is this extension.
Automatic discovery will almost definitely not work. You will need to select the game's installation folder manually. The folder you described is the correct game folder. If you are seeing all that stuff in there, it means the extension should be working (if it can work on Linux at all).
Like I said, using Vortex on compatibility layers is not really supported. Vortex relies on the Windows file system for mod deployment, so it probably will not work for you on Linux.
Assuming it could work, you would just install mods from Nexus in your browser, then use TFC installer in the Vortex Dashboard if needed for that mod.
I installed the files from TFC Installers page on Nexus and was able to run it thru ProtonTricks but for some reason it doesn't detect the game. It can detect the mods just fine.
Nvm I'm a dumbass. I had to allow Protontricks to see the commons folder and then link the /home/.steam/steam folder to /home because /hom/.steam is a hidden folder. You can't just copy and paste the location because Arch Linux doess theirs differently so you actually have to search the line in TFC. I can confirm my mods work. you also need to run .net 6 thru protontricks under the game for TFC to function as TFC requires it to even launch in the first place.

Again, I don't know if it will work on your OS.
