The registry tweak doesn't add anything new it just changes a value from true to false, and that false is NVIDIA's check to make sure an RTX card is avalible otherwise DLSS can't be selected.
This has absolutely no effect on any game or windows, but if you wish to revert it just open the regedit file and go to the location and change it back manually.
Works like a charm on Alan Wake 2 and Star Wars Jedi Survivor using Intel Xess with frame gen on an Intel Arc B580. I know I'm pushing my luck, but is there a way to exclude the UI elements from frame gen?
What if the game doesn't support DLSS? Like an old game... Like, AC Odyssey? Because I only want to implement XeSS and I only have Intel Iris Xe iGPU, which does give me 20fps @1080p currently.
hi TheHybred, XeSS works like a charm on Diablo 2R and GTA SA DE with Arc A380 (win 10). but FSR 2.1 and 2.2 not work with MX450 on my laptop, the DLSS setting still gray out (win 11). plz teach me how to enable it on my laptop. tks u so much.
I wish to use this on the steam deck, unfortunately I don't understand the wine tweaks required to do this and I assume the mod maker also doesn't given they would have probably added such instructions or even a script.
This comment is to any passerby's or even just to inform the mod maker, that can help me and others set this up on Deck and other Linux systems. The XeSS half of this mod would be invaluable to me and many others.
Edit: Theoretically this part of a similar mod could be used for this as it appears to do the same thing. I will do some testing a report back, probably. edit 2: to clarify I am not using the script, just a manually edited version of their listed wineprefix command. I have added the command below, dont copy paste, it wont work on its own you have to edit it on a per-game basis. WINEPREFIX=/path/where/the/steam/library/is/steamapps/compatdata/#####/pfx /bin/wine64 regedit ../../common/gamenamehere\ .../bin/x64/FidelityFx\ Super\ Resolution\ 2.0-3001-0-3-1656426926/EnableSignatureOverride.reg

I've tried to install it on Control, but it gives me black screen when enabling DLSS
