Conflict Deleter sounds great but it would be better if there's a delete option like hide option when right clicking losing conflict files. MO2 only offers hide option.

These have been super helpful for me over the years! Will you by chance considering updating them to the new mo2 release? Only if you want to / have the time to of course :)

Considering the Github repo has been set to read-only, I decided to fork said repo and update the plugins myself.
      You can find it here.

Or if you prefer the Nexus Page, go here.

Conflict Deleter seems to be both underrated and a little scary - but it also looks like it would really help streamline big load orders as well as keep MO2 from stressing out under the strain.

Too bad this Conflict Deleter can't be further refined and made safe for idiots.

It's better to leave deleter unsafe for idiots because they get to learn something. Modding will never trully be safe for idiots. You know it and i know it.

The functioning of CONFLICT DELETER is a little unclear to me.
When the files are loose it is quite clear. The looser is gonna be deleted.
But what if the looser file is inside a BSA ? Is the BSA extracted, purged and then recomposed back again automatically?

    Thanks for any reply.

Bsa files are intact because who wins or loses conflicts is determined by plugins. For loose files when you're installing mods make sure before you enable conflict deleter pay close attention which mod overwrites what and the order so when overwriten files are removed you don't remove those you don't want to over write. Loose files coming with eps plugins are also probably exempt. I am gonna get as much of plugins as i can find. Conflict deleter is severely underrated especially because by reducing size of mo2 folder and when files aren't overwriting one another skyrim should perform better because resources needed for going through loose files to read them are going to be put to better use.

It would be nice if the conflict deleter would delete associated normal and parallax maps when a texture is removed. For instance if mod a has texture, normal and parallax but mod b overwrites only the texture, right now the result is a texture with maps meant for a different texture. It seems possible since the maps are consistently named (_n, _p).

Obviously the problem of mismatched maps isn't caused by this plugin, it just seems like it could solve it

Hey there! It seems you were using custom encryption settings to create .zip files. Therefore, windows zip extractor is *unable* to extract archive properly, it can only be achieved by using tools like 7zip.
Compress python scripts using "Deflate" method compression, so it can be extractable

It was just whatever bog standard LZMA compression that Python does.  /shrug.  I've switched to using Deflated instead.  Thanks for the info!
