This extension adds DOOM 3 modding support to Vortex Mod Manager.
Supports Steam, GOG, and Xbox (Game Pass) versions, both Classic and BFG Edition. Other versions may need to select the installation location manually.
Please ensure the mods you install are intended for your version of the game (Classic / BFG Edition).
Mod Installation Notes:
By default, installs mods to the game's "Doom3/base" folder (this is where .pk4 files should go).
The extension has a list of known mods that it will install to the root game folder. If your mod is not installed properly by the extension, use the "Unpack as-is" option from the right-click context menu and set the modtype to "Binaries / Root Folder", then do any file/folder manipulation in the Staging Folder. Mods that are known to require manual manipulation will trigger a notification to the user after installation.
Includes mod types for the "d3xp" (Ressurection of Evil) and "d3le" (Lost Mission) folders (can be selected manually) to place .pk4 files in those folders.
Usage Notes:
Note that due to inconsistent mod packaging, this extension will require more manual intervention than other games.
