Hello, I'm wondering if someone might be able to help. I'm trying to get this working for the SFF mod after switching to a new computer, but it seems to be that the extension is not working correctly. I get two errors when I boot vortex that say "Unhandled error in event "will-deploy"" and "Unhandled error in event "did-deploy"". When I click for more info it says that the extension "Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'path')"

Don't start the game using vortex. Yes, it leads to crash for some reason. Just use it to install mods and launch the game as you would normally do. Using steam or just clicking on the executable. When you launch the game using vortex, it either crashes or freezes.
Not really. It's not the purpose of this plugin. You can still modify text with other tools. The text is mostly in ebp files (maps and cutscenes) and some bin files (menus, etc)
I'm starting to extract the files with the VBF Bowser but i didn't find the dialogue. Can you tell me which root folder need to extract to find some dialogue? : )
I can't seem to get this working at all. Aside from the External file loader, EVERY single mod (even the LUA loader) gives me a prompt upon install asking me to either download the external file loader and LUA loader which, what the f*#@ when I'm currently trying to install that, or just use old VBF packages and regardless of which I choose, the mod cancels installation. There's no way to skip over this, what do I do?
Looks more like general vortex issue rather than extension speciifc. If it asks the question, then the external file loader is not properly installed. Have you properly deployed the external file loader? Upon installing, you might need to enable it and then agree to elevate privileges (the default deployment method is symlinks, which requires admin privileges). Look for a prompt in upper right corner. If you still can't get it to work, try changing deployment method in settings to hardlinks, restart vortex and try again.
I cant seem to make this work. All the mods instal fine and are in game but exactly after 3 min, the games crashes to desktop without error. I removed all the mods and I get the same result is launching from Vortex.
Hi I am wondering will any other final fantasy game or games have a vortex support addition as I want to mod the Final Fantasy 13 trilogy with the JP music.
I'm not going to work on FF13 vortex support if that's what you mean. Is FF13 one of the easily moddable games (having, say, a mods folder, where you can just drop your files), or does it need actual file patching/repacking? If the latter, it might be hard to find someone to do a support plugin.
Hello. After downloading the extension, I try to manage the game, but when I click "activate" button in the manage games tab, an error appears "failed to set game mod". I open the detail. It said missing mods/deploy file. And this is the image. Please help me fix this. Thanks a lot.

If you still can't get it to work, try changing deployment method in settings to hardlinks, restart vortex and try again.
I removed all the mods and I get the same result is launching from Vortex.
Any way to fix this?
