im getting an error on tfc installer when trying to update arkham knight saying "Access to the path G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Batman Arkham Knight\Binaries\Win64\356474\DLC\356474\Content\BmGame\Config is denied."
You mean the game folder or the texture pack / game patch folder? In both cases... you need to select the correct folder. If you get an error for the game folder it should tell you to open the folder that contains "BmGame\CookedPCConsole" For the game patch / texture pack, you have to select the folder that contains the mod files. If the mod is a zip file you need to unzip first. Watch the video tutorial above, it's for Dishonored but it works the same way for any game.
Yeah, the Borderlands UHD texture pack DLCs are currently unsupported. There's some weirdness with how they work, unfortunately. There's a note on the wiki stating they're incompatible.
Idk if I'm doing something wrong when it comes to DLC on Bioshock Infinite but anytime I replace a texture in Bioshock burial at sea 1 and 2, it won't let me play it afterwards.
We've identified the problem. The game does an integrity check per DLC via the signature.bin files. Modifying any file within the DLC folders seems to make it so that you cannot use the DLC, as does removing the signature.bin file itself. You will likely need another mod to remove this check, assuming one exists.
What version of TFC installer are you using ? (you can see it in the window title bar) Also, what edition of the game do you have ? Steam? Epic game store? What happens if you start TFC installer as administrator ? same problem?
That's quite puzzling. From what I understand it's crashing when you click install, not when you start the app? Did you have any success installing other texture pack mods? Edit: other things to check: - Try disabling your antivirus during installation. it's possible it's overzealous and doesn't like the decompression libraries that are used during installation - ... you're not using a 32 bits version of windows, are you?
I'm having this same issue, game is DMC Devil May Cry. It just stops entirely, no code or anything. And yes, to be sure, I disabled all AV software, same result. So......needs to be said that you must set compatibility for windows 7 for this to work, if your on anything higher that is, and I'm on 11. But it works. And you have to close and reopen to install multiple mods, but it does work, kudos to the creator.

A lot of modders will give instructions to use "uninstall all" to uninstall their mod. Don't. Do this instead:
I have this error with the Arkham Asylum evolved suit mod, it gives me an error when I install the "model" folder, any solution?

I patched 2 texture files with UPK Explorer and then installed them with this tool.. but in game the texture is still the same (yes i used mipmaps)
Some games store textures weirdly. Which game are you modding and I'll take a look.
Works perfectly without it!
Edit: Able to verify this problem, investigating now.
Also the DX5 on Life is Strange are working again so I can keep making my mod for it! :D

Especially having to set windows 7 compatibility mode, since this is a .net 6 app.
Have you tried running as admin?
