    Unable to Install using Vortex
The problem is easy to find: "Only available to Premium users"
You get this error when you try to install the tools using the notification from Vortex

This extension only works for Premium Users

The SMPC Tool dont download for NonPremium Users
The ASC's Suit Adder dont download for NonPremium Users

You can still download those files directly from the website, Vortex just can't pull them for you automatically.

Vortex doesn't install ASC's Suit Adder when prompted to. Button makes notification go away, but doesn't install anything. Anybody know a fix? Somewhere else I should report this?

It works for me. Try manually dropping the file into Vortex instead?

That's not what sparrf means. When prompted to install ASC's Suit Adder tool, pressing download resulted in nothing. You have to navigate to the mod page to download it.

It doesn't work. When installing, Vortex gives this error.
Vortex is designed to install mods from archives but this doesn't look like one. Do you want to create a mod containing just this file?

      I could try placing the .exe in the correct directory, but I don't know where that is, and I dont know if Vortex will know if it's there or not. When installing the .exe as a mod in Vortex, and deploying with a suit adder tool mod installed and enabled, deployment ends with this notification;
You have mods installed that require the "Suit Adder Tool" to activate. Vortex can run this automatically if you let it install the tool for you.

Clicking "Install" does nothing. The notification closes but no download is initiated.
The same thing happens when dragging the .exe file in manually.
      Something is broken.

7zip the file up first. I'm guessing that's why it won't install manually.

the file is labeled as a 7zip file however when trying to open it or extract it 7zip says the file can't be opened as an archive. Manually dropping the file into vortex result once again in vortex giving this error.

I also tried to extract the file into a folder through 7zip but It gave me the same error

edit : Ok seems I needed to compress the file once again manually through 7zip. Vortex didn't give me any error this time around

edit 2 : Making the file a 7zip file didn't work so i tried making it a zip file instead but didn't work either

Vortex is for some reason or another unable to download mods with the .smpcmod extension. I've tried changing the file endings to .rar but that didn't seem to work either. I'm fairly sure I'm installing things properly, manual download the files, extract the archives, and put the .smpcmod files into the Vortex staging folder. But any mods with the .smpcmod file extension seem to just not work in Vortex. It doesn't give me any errors, and it deploy all the mods just fine, it just seems to be unable to download mods with the .smpcmod extension. I was only able to install one suit properly (this one recolor by ginzu92, https://www.nexusmods.com/marvelsspidermanremastered/mods/2565) and the specific file I had downloaded, which was the black and red recolor version worked. When I had tried to download the blue and red version (a .smpcmod file) it didn't work in Vortex.  Maybe I installed the Vortex support extension wrong? Am I just being stupid? Any help would be great, thanks!

Edit: Found a solution! As it turned out I was indeed being an idiot.

Hi, I was wondering if using vortex to automatically install smmpc was the way to go. If not should i just install it manually and if so where. I tried installing smmpc automatically through vortex along with other mods using the same method but nothing shows up in game.

I use the mmpctool and when i add a mod (no matter which) the game breaks, like the Buttons in the launcher are weird like: LAUNCHER_PLAY. I verified the integrity got a clean toc and toc.BAK file and everything is normal but without mods :(. I installed only one mod (remove intro) and removed the other mods I had and it still not worked. I have the newest version of the mmpctool. Then I uninstalled all mods, verified the integrity, removed all data in: assetarchive/mods, deleted all data in: mmpctool/ModManager and installed only the "remove intro" mod and the game was again broken. I don't know what to do anymore. I hope you guys can help me.

If you're using MMPCTool directly rather than Vortex you should ask on that mod page.

For some reason I'm not getting any instructions.

I try to manage the game, I get the message that Vortex can help with installation of the Spiderman modding tool. I hit the download and install button.

Immediately the message about the suit mod tool pops up. Again I hit download.

Then... nothing. Mod Manager acts like the game is being managed, there are no further prompts, and I can't download any mods to Vortex.

Once those two tools are installed you should just be able to hit the "Vortex" button on the mod pages for content you want to use.

Thanks for the reply. For whatever reason, the "Download and Install" button inside the Vortex software is not properly installing things. So I can't automatically install the tools.

Installing from the Nexus mods site works, and that sets up The mod tool correctly, but not the Suit Adder. No doubt the issue is Vortex, not your plugin.

I'd like to try adding the Suit Adding Mod manually. Where should I place it relative to the game directory?

You should be able to just install it like any other mod. Vortex will place it properly like it does with SMPCTool
