In general, you should first read the above article "How To Report Issues Helpfully" - and provide us with your Debug Log "LOOTDebugLog.txt". If the Debug Log isn't provided, potential issues will only take longer to be resolved.

Reasoning behind disabling sorting for Starfield in LOOT v0.22.1:

Please try the new version 0.22.4. If the issue persists we would need your LOOTDebugLog.txt to further investigate.

The latest version is not installed, there is a process in downloading on the cursor, then just nothing. And repeated launches and with the permission of the administration, it also does not start. (Win 11 64bit)

I'm not sure I understand your issue correctly. If you still have an issue, please describe your issue in more detail and provide your LOOTDebugLog.txt.

In LOOT's case you can ignore this general warning. LOOT's entire source code is openly available for anyone to see on GitHub.

GitHub status doesn't report anything out of the ordinary, so it likely was a temporary issue on your end. I would try again to update the masterlist.

I saw this pop up in my notifications. Thank you! I've been struggling to have mods work in Starfield since the latest update and was hoping that this tool would be available. I forget which mods need to be where in the list, so this is good to have.

You're welcome, but be aware that since LOOT v0.22.1 sorting has been disabled for Starfield, the reason for that can be found in the sticky post above. We hope that once the Starfield Creation Kit is released the mentioned issues get ironed out, so that we can reenable sorting for Starfield.

After compiling a mod list off around 560+ mods I have one last flag up after running loot, just above the normal "You have not sorted your load order this session" I have the following bullet point:

"It appears you do have the latest version of Fallout 4 NG. Some mods may require functionality added in the latest version of Fallout 4 NG to work."

I would assume this is referring the the NG update which as of today I have done as we now have the new F4SE update, but this error still remains, I'm yet to try & find out if this will, as it warns of, any impact on any of my mods (likely due to the size of my modlist) functioning correctly but I'd be grateful for any input you may have prior to me trying things out just as a precaution, I would hate to pull apart everything I have done before even getting to smoothing things overs.

Thanks for anything you maybe able to add in advance & thank you for all your hard work, LOOT is an incredible tool I never leave out of modding today.

Edit: if there is any information I can supply should it help please let me know & I will respond in kind A.S.A.P.

Double check that your masterlist is up to date and that you've really installed the latest patch for Fallout 4. Also launch the game at least once.

Most grateful for such a quick response, until now this has not caused me any problems but I am yet to get in game & start changing settings before starting my playthrough, I have launched the game prior to beginning my modlist as this was a fairly normal requirement as a number of files needed to be generated/detected, I will keep the checks you have mentioned in mind & see where it takes me.

      Thank you once again!!

Is there any way to make Loot show exactly how many Active Regular Plugins I have? Once it gets to 255 it stops there and I have no idea how many plugins are activated.

Since the game doesn't load more active regular plugins than that, it doesn't really make sense to increase the upper bound for that counter in LOOT.
