   Is there any way that my mod can detect if an update is available without re-inventing the wheel?
   
   I can see in the UMM window that an update is available, but UnityModManager.ModEntry.hasUpdate always returns false. Looking at GitHub, this parameter is hard coded to false and not used.

      This feature was planned for integration with nexus, but was never implemented.
