Considering switching to this from the normal Profile Inspector, but have one question: Will it change how the Nvidia App intervenes with some games?
As an example: For Star Wars Outlaws I enabled the DLSS-RR override via Nvidia Profile Inspector and set it's preset to Preset E. Unfortunately after every game exit (or start), the Nvidia App meddles in these settings and set's the override from "Preset E" to "Newest".
Yes I know some recommend to uninstall and not use the Nvidia App, but since this'll replace the NVCP in the future I don't really like to get rid of it. Instead I'm wondering if your version of the Nvidia Profile Inspector can somehow protect the settings of a game profile, make them "read only" or something similar.
I've been using Profile Inspector for a while now, thanks for the updated version.
A little tip for everyone: If you don't know exactly what does what, ask ChatGPT, he has given me very detailed information on individual settings so far.
What is the "RTX HDR - Allowed" option doing? I use RTX HDR, have it enabled on original NVPI via the (in revamped) "RTX HDR - Enabled" named option, and it works without "RTX HDR - Allowed" enabled.
Sorry for the (probable) stupid question, but I've been using your tool for a little while now, and I was wondering what was the difference between the option "Force DLAA", now found in "Extra", and setting the "SR: Scale Factor" on "DLAA".
My guts tell me that it does the same thing, but since you have specifically made those two different options available, I was wondering if it did actually do things differently or not. If it IS different, should I keep the "SR: Scale Factor" on Default and activate the Force DLAA option, or should I do the opposite (Scale Factor on DLAA and Force DLAA on off).
Thank you for doing this tool, as it's been INCREDIBLE for me, much better than the alternatives of DLSSTweaks etc.
They do the same thing, I moved the other option to extra since it's just cluttered space otherwise.
The reason they're two different options is because this tool doesn't really add new features it just lets you override existing NVIDIA features found in the registry, hidden or otherwise, and nvidia has both options for some reason.
