This mod is awesome, it works for the whole game. The other camera mod was weird in one of the museum fights. Thanks for making this, it's great that it's so customizable too. Camera is much less frustrating now.
Does anyone have 1v2 like 70FOV or similar? The 90FOV is way too far away and standard is a little too close. Hard to see enemies around you. I would be so thankful
Thank you.
EDIT: I found the old FOV changer. For anyone interested this FOV changer you have full control over in the game by upping/lowering FOV with F4 and F3. Start the game. Alt tab out. Start the FOV mod (small window opens). Now you can change FOV on the fly. Link: https://github.com/RoseTheFlower/UltrawideIndex/releases/tag/sifu
Have you confirmed this working with my mod and If so is the camera distance adjustable? If it isn't able to adjust distance then I'll be making a 75 FOV variant once I complete my Rework early next year.
Old post but in case you want to play again/still playing you can use this FOV mod which let you change on the fly. Read the instructions. Link: https://github.com/RoseTheFlower/UltrawideIndex/releases/tag/sifu
1v1 camera is really not good at all, and it'd be amazing if we could use exploration camera for 1v1 and 1vx, it's over the character and is how these games usually have camera.
Problem is that overhead camera for 1v1 makes the enemy obscured or obscures the terrain around the player (Depending on how the camera is positioned and centered). Once I get back to this mod I'll make a 1v1 camera akin to the 1vX camera. Alongside a slightly lower FOV set of files and a couple other things depending on what else I can change.
For now I won't be updating this until I finish my Rework or when I get burnt out working on it.
OK so I gave it a shot to edit to 80 FOV. I downloaded the loose files, modified all instances of m_fFOV that I could find, and used Fluffy's Unrealpak (which didn't generate a .sig).
Doesn't seem to work. Also tried putting the loose files in /content, which I don't think should work unless I patch the .exe like we do in Session (another UE4 game).
Anyway this is just a 30-minute hack job attempt after I got off work. When I really want to play this again I'll hit you up in Discord. Thanks for the mod still :)
Mandatory, You don't realize how awkwardly close the vanilla camera is all the time until you try this. This makes the game playable for me. Although I have the same request many have mentioned, 90FOV is already a little bit too much. Maybe 80FOV would be just fine?
the camera is a bit too far from the character for me I love the way it looks in the 7th and 8th pic the long white hallway, is there a way for me to do that so the camera stays that way at all times? Or at least most of the time
That's a specific camera for the intro to that section. I won't be making any other camera mod variations yet. Too busy working on a Rework mod. So for the time being you'll have to make that yourself if you want it. If you need advice on where to start feel free to contact me via Discord. I'm on the Sifu Discord under the same name.
Once you extract the .pak you can use UAssetGUI to modify the camera nodes. Then you make sure to repack them with the right filepaths. You can extract my files to help understand where everything is located if you want.
Update added fixed camera adjustments for the 5th Arena (Squats Stairs Linear Level), added takedown camera adjustment files, and a way to disable fixed cameras (minus the sideview hallway in the first level). some files are slightly adjusted, but in ways most people wouldn't notice.
Only update so far is adding a file that removes the fixed camera for the new DataCenter Arena. I'll update the .sig files to the latest update some time this week, but it isn't necessary for it to work. I've been working on other mods too. So I haven't finished the alternate fixed camera for The Park or The DataCenter yet. Those should be complete in the v1.0 update once I no longer consider this a WIP

(This is regarding the other comment about the way it looked in the 7th and 8th pic.)
