Zeitgeist robotics (Chpt. 2) It's quite buggy with the nanobot cyberdeck but I think you are supposed to use one of the hijacked drones to go through the door instead or around it somewhere. This was not made clear in the quest or the flavor text of the environment so I had to just trial and error guess my way through and try a few things with the debug console mode enabled... Hint: It's not the door you think it is, which can be kind of counterintuitive!
Dunwitch (Chpt. 5): The sewers don't function because maybe they weren't added yet?
Also has anybody porting this UGC over to Dragonfall figured out a way to change that variable on the jack cyberware so that it works as a datajack on there? It appears there is a difference in Returns and Dragonfall that breaks it to make the trodes mesh, etc. unusable.
Greetings. First of all, I am stuck in the "wait for Rickshaw" objective, and i don't know what to do, so far I have been killing yakuzas AND triads, but still aren't able to raise the reputation (I had to do it that way because cannot take yakuza missions in succesion, neither triad missions)
Second: Cannot acces the matrix via nanobots. The select programs shows incomplete and all the buttons become unresponsive
Starting with chapter 2, everything just falls apart. Dialogues in locations just kept on replaying as if it was my first time there Scenes just skipping for no reason References to things I didn't do Supposedly time sensitive quests can be replayed over and over Now I reached Chapter 4 and Rickshaw kept on talking about a non existing Hellion. When everywhere and do whatever I can and none would progress the story. Stopped, deleted. Disappointed.
I know this is an ancient ugc, but i've run into a huge bug that stalls the game at act 2. Upon reaching Everett Station, I sided with the Riffraffers vs Dagon Corp (because Ctulhu mythos = don't join Dagon!), but no matter how many Dagon runners I kill, the story won't progress. I've killed around 50 of them, doing solo runs in between, but nothing progresses!
Ok. I have a sneaking suspicion that i have encountered a bug. Just finished Sense/Net Archives and i can't progress further. Team refuses to do anything before hound problem is solved. Problem is - there is no dogs anywhere in the hideout nor where there any in the archives (i asume there where suposed to be one, based on the records on the terminal). So basically - my game is lacking at least one NPC. Any ideas what this all is suposed to mean? It is kind of sad to solo the Zombie town and be stoped by some bug. P.S. Sry for my bad english.
Holy f*#@ing cuddlefish, this has to be single handedly the most "finished" piece of ugc I've ever seen. Stiff competition, but ffs you have more options for s#*! than DMS or DF did in the beginning. Great stuff 10/10 would jack in again.
I have a question about updating from an older to a newer version of the mod. Two years ago I downloaded an earlier version of the mod that is basically playable up to "Chapter 4 Part 1", but forgot about it after a while. I only recently returned to it on a new computer and during playthrough, I encountered that there is a new version (actually there have been several updates in the meantime).
I tried updating the mod in a "brute force" way by moving the old version folder, extracting the new version folder and then loading the old savegame.
It works - though SRR (version 1.0.4 ?! ) crashed on several occasions which it did not do before (though this might also depend on other things).
I did the *spoiler*coffin hotel in Tacoma, gathered an important piece of information from there */end spoiler* and reached the end of "Chapter 4 Part 1". However, I was only presented the message to wait for the next update of the mod, with "Chapter 4 Part 2" - which I already installed, as the new version includes a "Chapter 5", too!
My question is now: Is there a way to continue the story from that point (or a short time before), or would I have to start over from scratch (losing my hard-earned equipment in the process)?
Alright, so great mod so far, or most of it anyway. Until now it was all well doable and fun, but now I'm at the unscathed mansion in the otherwise infected and destroyed village (EDIT: It's called Zombie Town in the mission list). And I can't get any further anymore.
The problem is the insane difficulty. Three factors: Enemies are almost impossible to hit, have too much AP, and in overall too strong with too many special abilities. With a character with pretty good combat stats, the best drone there is, a good gun and normally high hit rates, I am having an extremely hard time to get to (what I think is) the boss. And when I do reach the boss, team all worn out and no more items, this boss just heals FRIGGIN 30HP WITH EVERY HIT! Aside from that my team hits him only like 1 or 2 out of 10 times. I don't know if this guy is some sort of demi god, but this is too much man.
Hi! Looking good so far, but now Im stuck. Cayote is off to investigate the subway mage lair. I do 2-3 missions and she comes back only to repeat the former dialogue about her going to check it out. Repeating over and over. Also it feels a tad odd to send her (she even claims not to like detectivework) when my shaman would be better suited to gather info. Thx Sven
I had this problem too, but after scouring the Shadowrun forums I think it's not so much a bug, but rather a clarity/dialogue flaw.
Gevrik (the modder) mentioned that the number of Mr. Johnson missions you need to do depends on the number of clues you found outside the monorail station. In my case, I found 3 clues successfully, and therefore (proabably) had to do 3 missions first. After 3 missions I did indeed finally continue with the story.
Coyote does tell you to do just one Johnson mission so it makes sense that it looks like a bug. However you probably just need to do one or two more missions and you're good to go.
One sidenote: In my case, I *did* talk to Coyote after every Johnson mission, should it matter.
It seems to be frozen after I click continue. I select the mission, select my character, the mission loads and then turns into the "continue" button, but after i click that nothing seems to happen. Is there something I'm missing?
edit: ok so i'm new at this Shadowrun Returns mod thing.. but it seems pretty simple. I downloaded the latest file, manually placed it in the correct place, started up Shadowrun, selected it, created a new character, go to load up the mission, press "continue", and nothing happens... The continue button just disappears and nothing happens.. this has happened to me with other user made stories. I'm playing it on a macbook?.. is that it? No idea whats going on, would really like to try some of these new stories out, but it's not loading up. Help?
I apologize if this is a "stupid question", but I really would like some help with this drek..
edit: I download an earlier file, and I got to go to Seattle and have the little fight there, but then it froze up after i tried to exit the place. ?

I bought the GoG version today for 5 bucks on the insomnia sale. The GoG version is a bit different somehow. It seems to run the story fine.
