    Hi David,

Thanks for putting this mod up. It seems to address the very issue I was struggling with: I don't like how my ork looks like a blob.

There is a part in your instructions that I don't quite follow. It says: "Does not work for Player 0 (PC0) characters that were created from the Character Creation Screen. It will work if PC0 is loaded from Character Sheet."

If I wanted to play through the main campaign, The Dead Man's Switch, with the player character that I have already created at the character creation screen and want to benefit from the SlimOrk transform, what would I have to do? Could I modify the Player Spawner for PC0 in each scene? Maybe I'm not understanding this well.

Maybe a better question is: "In the main campaign, Dead Man's Switch, how can I load my PC0 from a character sheet that I've edited?

I do have some modding experience with Unity and UABE, though not with Shadowrun specifically. I have Unity, Unity Studio and UABE on my PC. Please advise me on how to proceed.

    Sincerely,
    Qhuenta

Sorry for the delay, only now I saw your post. For the Dead Man's Switch the only way is through savegame manipulation, I think. If I were to use a PC0 that's loaded from a sheet without savegame manipulation, the UGC would need to be created with the Load Default Character checkbox marked and the character sheet would have to be named slimork.
You see, I could have made the body mods to be activated via general tags, but it would still require savegame manipulation for DMS in order to tag PC0.
Or you could create an uncooked copy of the DMS UGC, drop your character template in the data/chars folder, change the UGC preferences to load default character, publish locally and then play.

      Hi David,

Thanks for the reply. I only read it recently myself. Back in 2022, after installing your MOD, I used the Shadowrun Editor to add the lines slimork to the "Player Spawner 0" object in each scene of Dead Man's Switch. My ork was transformed as I'd hoped. Thanks to your MOD I was able to happily continue playing and finish a playthrough with the character I'd started.

I did some testing, and it seems that as long as your MOD is installed, once the player character has spawned into a scene as a slim character and you save the game, they stay that way regardless of whether the next scene has the added line "slimork" on the "Player Spawner 0" scene object.

That means, that mid game one way to change an existing ork player character from the default extra bulky shaped one to a slimmer version is to edit the next scene they will appear in, by first installing your MOD and then adding the line "slimork" to the "Player Spawner 0" object in the next scene they will appear in as gameplay naturally progresses.

      Thanks again,
      Qhuenta

Oh that makes a lot of sense, even though I didn't expect the game to save the Player 0 prop name amongst other info. I did expect the game to save the character ID. There are ways then, in my UGC, to ask any player that chose the ork race if they want to change appearance. The game would simply load an extra scene with a Player 0 spawner and proceed to the main story. That's good to know! Kudos to you

Hi David, I just wanted to ask if the Bounty Runner campaign mod demo is still being worked on. I recently got into the Shadowrun Returns series and this mod seems fun to have.

Yes, the campaign is still being worked on. It's going to happen, and there will be a demo soon.
