Very nice work. Gets me really wanting to see a complete work. Good story. Was leery about not being able to make/import my own character but you made me not even wanna.
When going after first run to pay off debt to Halloweneers and saying gatekeeper troll that I'm going to pay off debt - lift inside their base is not operable (Clicking the "use" icon don't do anything but triggers bell some seconds later). Is it a bug or just a rough plug for not yet written variant of passing through scene?
just to let you know - nothing more - there are some "malfunctions" when playing this UGC with the (GOG-) Dragonfall DC version (e. g. Substreets, trying to participate in a fight turns into a black screen and you get stuck there everytime when the dialogue with Hobbs closes - but that works fine with the (GOG-) SRR DMS (Dragonfall added) version (on my machine). That applies also for some other strange events in the Barrens (DC version) within non walkable areas everytime when transfering from inside a building to the Barrens (magic healing to 4 or 5 characters that cannot be seen within an unwalkable area and all controls do not work until the "healing up" has been finsished ...).
Seems it actually was just a one time bug, now hobbs let me have my programs. Another thing now, i can't use Riley's drones. The drones tab stays blank (i'm using Dragonfall DC), so i can't gaz peoples
It was noted by HBS that due to the changes to the base game, UGC creators would have to jump through a few hoops to convert their Non DC content over. I have not looked into those options and will instead focus on completing the content before doing a full conversion.
I believe the content works with Dragonfall stand alone, and DMS/dragon fall. This is likely due to the mandatory update to the editor that crippled many UGC.
As for the shops I'll look into them, but I am wondering if you reload and attempted to shop if the same issue came up? or if its an isolated error with the base game.
I took some risks making a default character over the pre-gen, but felt I could add more to the story from a character's perspective. You should be able to level Davis as needed, as I don't plan many mandatory matrix scenes beyond the first few scenes.
Of course, there will be elements that tie back into his roots.
Actuallly i'm playing with old DMS + DF (DF DC actually doesn't have any UGC for GoG version; just only for that damn steam....) and merchants work with any bug. So far everything works fine. If I found a bug, i'll report.
Interesting, i like it so far, hawoever i had quite an irritating glitch: i bough stuff to a few merchants, who took the nuyens, but didn't give me the goods... The ork in the safehouse, and then Hobbs in the substreets. I'll add other merchants if it happens to me again...

That would break trigger lines for the sub-street fights and potentially mess up spawning sequence in the barrens.
I'll try and trouble shoot this issue along with a few others I'm aware of for Dragonfall-DC once the project is complete and I make the change over.
