    Would greatly appreciate it if you would post the updated version - the one that works with Dragonfall Director's Cut - here on the Nexus. I'd very much like to play this, but I have the GOG version, and I don't want to have to buy the same game twice to play a mod. Thanks.

    Ahm, maybe it's just me but I can't play this.
    Clicking on play gets me to the dialogue to choose new or imported character, clicking on either of them drops me back to the main contents menu.
    Tried both v1.00 and 1.02 with Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall directors cut.
    Any hints?

      Not just you, I currently have the very same problem. Hopefully you've figured out how to fix it, and if so, let me know because I really would like to play act 3.

    As far as i know this 3rd act was converted for Dragonfall Director's Cut and posted on steam workshop a year ago. Are there any plans to upload it allso on the nexus for us non-steamer? I can't wait to continue this wonderfull story.

    I played the three acts back to back and was impressed with your storytelling and writing.
    I really liked the interaction with 39 and most of the other NPCs.
    But well, mostly 39, she was really cool.

    Are there any plans to continue the story of the duo and 22?

    Then it's the last conversation that doesn't fire. My conversation ends with "What the hell was that?" by the PC, and after that, nothing. The credits don't start either.
     


    Exactly the same issue as reported by grylok.
     
    The explosion happens, I get the conversation option of: "What the hell was that?"
     
    Then nothing - I am standing there with the group and cannot move and nothing happens.  
     
    I have loaded a save from back before coming back to the cave and starting the exorcism with completely different speech selections, but end up with the same result.
     
    Please help DailyRIP!

    Okay, finished it now. It's pretty good, although I have two complaints -

    - 22 feels like a total liability. Melee is not a terribly useful character type, and with no support skills, he fails to impress, especially with Testament doing pretty much everything he does better. They even both have points in Biotech. The upgrade you gave him doesn't help due to his total innacuracy. Without Haste / Aim buffs he's near worthless (IMO). 1 melee character is fine, but two is excessive. I never took 22 on missions, and for the reservation fight had him in the back pushing the drone button.

    - My bigger complaint is the upgrades the other characters get. It feels very jarring. Up til this point, I was enjoying the fact that your UGC scales up slowly. Low karma, but low level combat, it works well. Until then - 'Hey uh... everyone levelled up! They got new stuff! What'd I get? Oh." Especially when you then look at their char sheets and realise they have WAY more karma spent then you do. Suddenly I felt far less effective, especially next to 39's rifle.

      You should also take it as a compliment that my complaints are mechanical, not to do with the story or writing. Very few typoes or grammatical errors (Apart from that major one), and generally solid quality and characterisation. 22 is a little one-dimensional, you could perhaps have fleshed him out a little more. The paint scene with 39 was very good. The overall concept is interesting, and a good take on SR's usual magic/tech dichotomy.

      Like typos or "Damn Strait" vs "Damn Straight" also ;p
      But... you have to realize that gesamtkunstwerk means that every nuance becomes an assault on the very art he tries to create. There are no purely mechanical problems, how he sees the characters evolving changes how they can interact in the world.

      Just food for thought.

    Another thing I noticed: At the camp fight against UNION (where you come to look for Jeremiah what's-his-name), the drone console doesn't work. I enter the right code, and it flashes green, but does nothing otherwise. I entered the code both before and during the battle to be sure, but it still didn't work. I fought plenty of drones still.

    I don't get the end, and am wondering if it's not a bug or mistake.

    After your team and Ascarion defeat the twins and other enemies from the portal, there is a final scene next to the chapel. The people who are there are 39, Testament, and Ascarion. 22 is said to be recovering at Testament's hideout.
    However, where is your character (26)? And why is Ascarion suddenly the good guy? Is Ascarion accidentally misplaced in stead of 26?

    Does this portion of the campaign work with Dragonfall: Director's Cut?  Being a latecomer to the SRR phenomenon I have the original game and the standalone expansion, but not the original Dragonfall.  What I've read makes me want to give From the Shadows a try, but it would make me sad to not be able to finish it (once the final Act is done, whenever that may be).

    Damn good job. Honestly, this is probably one of VERY few UGCs i've played where I felt the characters meant something. Keep it up!
