I liked the specialized roles of the runners. It definitely helps make them stand out. I also liked how you chose a setting outside of Seattle. Between the corporate warfare and the two detectives, the plot looks like it's shaping up for something interesting. That said, there were a few issues I found with it:
Yi Liu's unique pistol has 0 AP attack cost. Abbas is listed as a human yet his description says he's an Ork. Decking skill seems to only check for the player character, not the other runners. This makes the Decker runner pretty much useless. There are a few places with an option that requires a Decking skill check of 11, which is far beyond a new character not to mention over maximum attainable limit of 9. Some of the loot needs to be adjusted. "Class C Drone Turret" and "Cat Totem" in particular.
Lot's of good stuff here! Not so much story (yet?), but the missions are interesting and engaging, so I'm definitely looking forward to the next episode.
Like others, I have seen a number of bugs: * I'm unable to get to Dev. It seems like the area that he is standing in cannot be traversed. * When using the option to get rid of the Lone Star guard, there does not seem to be any way to enter the building. * The Lone Star ID obtained from hacking a computer in one mission does not grant entry to the Lone Star building.
There is an option for arranging your files into new and old files. I don't know where as I have never uploaded any file on nexus. But you can ask on forums. That way your latest file will always be at top in downloads without you needing to name the files with LATEST.
@ Jacob: use pres on relevant skills for "deck", "drone", "spells" aso
deckers (like myself) receive only a deck, no programms while riggers receive a functional drone; mage/shaman spells are only one option
I have not found a prerequisite for checking cyberware ("datajack") in the editor ... if there is one use it otherwise we should claim it
checking would be good to prevent that greedy chummers grab all stuff to sell it afterwards on the market
@ Detective Chu
"What ...", not "When can I do for you"
"don't know" is an obviouse lie, Eli is my boss
"he was here" is like "I met him and may be involved in whatever"
I'm missing an indifferent answer like "I know him but not where he is"
What I'm missing is the opportunity to inform Eli what happened. Either he has a secretary or a "new email" (both at office) or through accessing the comm in the lobby.
@ Leila: "breaking news" are not a marquee like in DMS (have to check how they've done it)
@ Market: using variables could prevent to show objectives again and again each time entering the market
@ Lonestar
"Class C Drone Turret" shows "icon is missing" and can't be sold afterwards
"The Black Hat" has armor 0 and no int+1 while wearing it (switched armor when found). I don't "own" it when visiting shop (still available with armor 2 and int+1) and can't be soled either.
I can use the found "FN HAR" without proper skill (requires ranged combat 4+) ... haven't checked if possible in DMS. Later I can't use it anymore while still equipped. Maybe corrected when game was loaded.
@ Knight Errant: first room to the right - not logged off: "... We are testing a our ..."
And what happens finally? Eli want's a serious talk because I've told Chu where to find him without warning Eli at once ...
3. I prefer your way of non-demolishing all furniture when collecting goodies over The Deep One which was really annoying especially in the sewers. Please keep track of relevant contacts using Mission Items, describe the found a bit more and remove (all) after using. I have nearly a dozen at the end still available. On the other hand some of them may be useful in future being unused during the events in Ep1. Like the LS Badge I've gained (had done the LS-Run prior).
I would like to have a single team for all Market-runs plus the opportunity to use the different etiquetts of all team members for tests, not only their skills.
Afaik it's not possible to save equipment you're giving teammates. But what about keeping track (variables) of this equipment (weapons/spells/etc)? If that is possible we could return unused equipment after the run to the players stash. Likewise we could divide found goodies during the run among the team and collect all at the end of the run. Thus all these medpacks, drones, spells aso would be useable during the run.
bug: Eli shows up in my party on the equipment page as I scroll through my party members to equip them (not supposed to be in party as soon as you get to avenue A, and does not appear anywhere else except when the equip screen is open) .... and then the game crashes, hard.
you need to remove Eli from the equip screen.
In the lone star first floor area, after you reprogram the turrets, why are they moved all the way into the corner? why not just leave them where they were?
How does the "Class C Drone Turret" work? can you set it up anywhere, and have your very own turret? It's not a drone, but it doesn't seem to be useable?
The sludge spirit you can summon in the winter building has no attacks at all. melee or ranged.
Lowering the alert level should be a level 3 decker matrix operation. level 4 would mean you were pretty much nothing but decker, and you need to be more than that since none of your teammates are worth much, nor can any of them deck it.
hey guys i know this is not the place to post this and im sorry but i cant find another place would someone kindly upload dead man's switch bytes file my brother messed it up for me he tried to make a level easier.ast please someone upload it fast i wanna play

Happy bug-squashing!
