Title the folder with these files in 'Canonical Lara' and the folder onto the mod manager to install them. Works perfectly right away, no need to turn off DirectX12 or change any other settings either.
Original Post: I have no idea about modding, but would be awesome if this could be installed using the new mod manager instead of using the Special K tool as that seems to castrate my processing power on this game!
A fix if your game won't start with Special K and you're getting error "0x0D Interface not found"
follow these steps in exact order:
- Download Special K archive version from here: https://discourse.differentk.fyi/t/download-special-k/1461 - Unzip ONLY SpecialK64.dll file, it's all you need. - Rename that file to DXGI.dll and drop it to your game installation folder - Try to run a game and it probably wont launch or you will get an error - After failed run dxgi.ini file will generate and also appear in your game folder - open dxgi.ini file with notepad or wordpad - find a line that says[Steam.Log] Silent=falseand change "false" to "true" and save and exit. - Try to run a game again it should work now :)
I installed Special K and its running perfectly because I'm getting an overhead notf as the game starts. I installed the mods and it copied Sk_Res into the same folder as SOTTR.exe
I disabled DirectX12, downloaded DirectX11, turned the settings to Ultra

No problem extracting SpecialK into the SoTR file. No problem copying the extracted SK_Res folder into the same place.
Setting textures to ultra: check Disabling dx12: check
Love the face, too bad this doesn't include her canonical E cup bust. I'm really disgusted at how this recent trilogy had to pander to feminists and give Lara a mastectomy.
Also, is the mod working for people? Its not showing up for me.

Hmm so I cant have reshade while using this? Since SK and reshade both have their own dxi.dll files? :/
Lmao I've been up all night getting the mod to work and reshade. If anyone else is having headaches with getting reshade to work with special K: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2518280550
Unfortunaltely most likely only works with reshade 4.91 and older, but its a small price to pay to get it to work. Just follow the steps carefully. Also you wont get notification in-game that reshade is working. Just press Home and see if it opens. If no effects are loading, when in game, open reshade interface, navigate to the second tab "Settings" and, in the Effect Search Paths, define your Shaders directory and your Texture Directory.
