Beside subjective of personal taste/preference, I knew that so many type and models of Monitors/TVs out there. LCD/LED/OLED/QLED ; IPS/TN/VA... etc. And they have their own characteristic (from neutral colors to vibrant colors, high to low gamma/black levels/white point, etc).
Therefore I made a simple adjustment UI for this mod. You can adjust Dark Level, Light Intensity, Color Saturation, Sharpness, etc.by press END keyboard button to show-up Reshade UI. Adjust the value to matching with your current screen (Monitor/TV) profile or fit with your taste/liking.
Keep in mind this is a custom shader, not just a regular Reshade preset. With this custom shader You can create your own various presets based on this custom shader (by press "+" (plus symbol) button on the top right corner from UI).
Happy gaming and cheers,
Chris
General Notes: - The version 1.0 is optimized for SDR mode. I will upload the HDR version later. Stay tuned! ;) - This custom shader designed for vanilla Hellblade2 (with full original effects, without custom Engine ini), but if you are using a custom Engine.ini to disabled some UE post-processing (e.g CA, DOF, Fog, Blooms, etc.), you may need to turn-down my default "Sharpness" via UI, turn it down from default (0.360) to somewhere 0.065 or even lower, to avoid "over sharpening".
If you are also disabled Bloom via custom config file, then you may need to increase my default "Light Intensity" (0.000) to somewhere between 0.075 to 0.155 (depends your liking or your monitor/TV profile), to compensate missing light intensity if you turn-off UE5 default Bloom effects.
In this video, I was using "Light Intensity" = +0.181, "Color Saturation" = +0.250 ;)
Temporary HDR Mode settings: I'm still busy, and still don't have a time to make the HDR version (Sorry!). But if you can't wait for it, you can use this SDR version with some adjustment via UI : - Increase "Light Intensity" from 0.000 (default) to somewhere 0.171 or even more (depends your liking) - Decrease "Color Saturation" from 0.465 (default) to somewhere 0.150 or even less (depends your liking) - Optional : Decrease the "Dark Level" value from 0.080 (default) to zero or even less (slightly minus value. e.g -0.031)
