nice, please put the hamon pattern you used for the 1.0 version. I know it's from owl's blade but it looks very good on Jin's sword. A plain brush finish is not that interesting to be honest.
I really like this sword but the extra gray ribbon under the sword's scabbard is a bit weird to me. It's clipping with the hand and looks untextured. Is this intentional? Could you add variant without the extra ribbon?
I noticed that too, i cant find in its dds where exactly it is. I’ll prolly just remove that untextured ribbon ot if i have wnough time will apply texture on it. I Need to check it in blender
I like the amount of detail that you put on this, I'm guessing you modeled it since the files in the archive have a different logic from the usual file structure. However, if I may say this, the handle is way too rectangular and wider than the blade itself, so it looks unnatural. I'm sure you can see it. From the picture in the mod splash, the sword looks very much like Isshin's/Tengu's katana, what I mean is the curve is continuous from the pommel to the tip, does not break at the beginning of the sheath. If you have the time, you could use the model from Isshin's sword and apply your texture and normals, that woul look amazing with your textures.
with the way the textures and normals are set up in the files, it wouldn't allocate properly onto Isshin's katana. he gave me permission to release an updated, fixed version with a thinner hilt, different handguard, and straighter blade. disclaimer, the one i'm making uses the blade asset from the mortal blade, so whatever blade and scabbard texture you have for MB, that's what'll show up. I can do a version with kusabimaru blade and scabbard. dm me if you want to talk more about it
yes I did notice the handle size :D Just didn't have much time to properly scale it as my focus is on Jin Sakai model.I will update this once I have the opportunity this week. in the meantime, u can try the adjustment made by sekiwanokami
