    Awesome idea, he looks kinda weird though :D Would be nice to see things like "press [] to pet the dog" or that he can be placed in some dog bed that you can sell if you dont want him to follow.

      I'm creating him point by point using math, which is why the body still needs work, but the head is rounded, the tail is curled, and those "ugly" eyes add character—gotta love them, right?

      I think the ideas about "press [] to pet the dog" and having a dog bed are fantastic—I'll keep those in mind as I continue

      Yea I thought so. Great work then, he gets more sympathic day by day :D The dog bed idea is because sometimes I dont want him to follow and stay where he is. Besides these ideas, will he have abilities in the future that help/give you a benefit?

      Right now, the stay button (default key: "H") allows you to keep doggo in one place, and you can teleport him wherever you want.
      I'm also working on some fun interactions like petting, rolling over, and maybe even barking at cops.

      As for abilities that might provide a benefit, I’m a bit hesitant about giving an edge over others or unbalancing the game.
      I was considering the idea of doggo picking up trash, as that would be super cute. but since there’s already a trash guy you have to pay for, maybe it might be more balanced if you had to buy him dog food every day at the same price as the trash guy. I dont know, It’s still a work in progress!

    Add a K9 dog to the police that sniffs the product from your pockets and chases after you and you get body searched instantly by the nearest officer

    Hey, great work so far with this mod! I just wanted to address some of the issues I've had with it, but I am super interested in seeing this worked on.

    - The legs are SUPER long, I'm not sure the dog was intended to go up stairs but it looks very wrong lol.

    - Another thing I disliked is how the dog follows your player rotation. I think they should only follow your position and pathfind accordingly.
    - Also, you can see the dog stutters up and down like crazy while moving. I'm not sure if this has to do with the animations or not.

      Thank you for the feedback. The main issue is that the dog needs to follow the camera location in order to put himself in your view like a real dog would. I'm working on it.
      And the legs, haha, I had no idea! They were generated to reach the ground, so I guess that's where the ground is set. ill add a limit to fix this as well.

    can keybinds be changed?  using another mod with those keys.

      Hi @Kyphius, there is a melon preferences file I can tie into but I'm not sure how, yet. I'll change them in the next update. What would be the best keybinds to use?

      Thanks! I'll probably end up changing the mod name or releasing another. Yes, I made this so I could have a monkey which ended up being really hard, but I want a dog, cat, bird, snake, monkey, pig, alligator, etc. You know, the normal pets.

    if u wanna fix the pink square do, unlit/texture or unlit/color, you can't do texture standard on schedule 1 il2cpp from what i can tell so far, without having access to the shaders made by tyler.

      @Jaycoder, Thanks! I couldn't get the textures to work, probably because IL2CPP.  I ended up having to apply Hidden/Internal-Colored, Twice!

    Great Idea, please make it bark when police is near or anyone is trying to attack the player.

      @yazeck I'm not able to add sound into the game using IL2CPP, but I found dog sounds in the game, so I should be able to use those. In the future, it should see and react to everything in the game, like going to pee on fire hydrants, growling at people like Peter, barking at cops, chasing the mailman... etc.
