Sure, I'd be glad if anyone wanted to contribute and I appreciate the interest. I'll upload it to Github in a bit so that you can get the full source and have it stay cross-compatible, and that way you can just PR the changes you make into the main repo. I'll send the link here when I get it on there.
I actually kinda had to make sure that didn't happen when making this mod, but I could add it as a option that they have a chance to target you after doing a deal with one of your dealers. I think it also might be cool to have a option for them to attack your dealers instead and maybe a way to buy your dealers bottles/knifes to defend themselves with.
Just so this guy doesn't look like the only one who wants this added as a config option, I very much so would like this as a config option! :) (Though maybe not them attacking the dealers, heh, but that could be a separate config for those who would like that.)
I want the game to be more intense and not just basically a laid-back tycoon, so this, and the config option suggested, plus the better fiends and hardcore cops mods I have would make it much more thrilling and fun, so please add that! Thank you :)
Does this mod have any conflicts with other mods? I can't seem to get it to work. I increased the likelihood of the attacks to try to force one, and it doesn't seem to be doing anything. If you could help, that would be great, thanks!
(It does work if I do a deal myself, but they won't hunt me down like in the Better Fiends mod, or at all unless I do a deal with them, which is disappointing.)
Yea it seems like the attacks only work if you're nearby when triggered by dealers, also sometimes they just teleport back to their house after they do a deal with dealers which means they don't get a chance to find you. I'll look into finding a fix for that for the next update.
What about just random attacks? You don't know when they complete a deal or not when you're just chilling at your base, preparing mixes and stuff. I know Better Fiends has a really good mechanic of how it handles them going after you to demand you make them a deal for whatever product they last used. Maybe you can talk with that person about using a similar code and stuff?
Hello thanks for this mod, i wonder if would it be possible to add not only a chance of attack for the addiction but also level of satisfaccion. So If they are adidicted but their level of satisfaccion if 100% then there's no chance they attack, but if their level of satisfaccion is 70% then there's a proportional chance to attack you. What do you think?? I think it would make the mod more realistic and not only random. Thanks!
Hi could you please expand your explanation for certain configuration values.
BaseChanceMultiplier = 35.0 -- what does this number actually represent internally, why is it 35 by default? MinRandomBonus = 1.0 MaxRandomBonus = 5.0 -- I'm assuming the min/max are an additional random bonus from 1-5% but an explanation behind it would also be nice if it's anything otherwise

Are you OK with me tinkering around in the code and implementing a few things and submitting them to you for review?
