The issue was likely caused by the user skipping the intro video while the host was still watching it, leading to timing problems with multiplayer. In v1.0.1, I’ve added a check to ensure the skip functionality only triggers in single-player, keeping it simple and preventing issues with multiplayer, especially since you're not creating new games as often.
Syncing it in multiplayer is tricky due to timing issues and multiple clients. Since the host has to complete the video before continuing, it makes it difficult to sync across everyone. This was likely why it was skipping the character creation screen. Also, I can’t control if one person has the mod and another doesn't, which adds another layer of complexity. I’m not sure how to get it working smoothly in multiplayer right now, but if you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to share! I'm open to exploring solutions.
Yeah, I know the game lets you skip it, but I figured I’d make it a little easier for those who don’t want to press anything at all. The original still requires 3 steps to skip, but this mod skips it entirely — consider it a speed boost with a luxury feature for the truly lazy! 😉
