The config file that generates shows the following:
[General] ; Day length multiplier - default is 2.0 for days twice as long ; Values less than 1.0 will make days longer, values greater than 1.0 will make days shorter
Isn't that second line backwards? <1.0 = faster/shorter, >1.0 slower/longer?
Just adding some info since my day was nearly not going forwards with the standard setting. I dont have other time related mods so idk why its like this, my daytime was way too slow.
I tried around with the config and 0.1 was the vanilla setting (I guess) and when I put it to 0.2 it was exactly half the speed (30 min in 60 seconds). 0.25 didnt work at all, the time wasnt changing, that might be the case for other 0.x5 values.
Planned features include: In-game time display adjustments
What exactly does this mean? As far as I can tell the in-game viewable time functions correctly with longer days. For example, the time on my phone screen advances twice as slow when I have my days set to 2.0.
Is there any possibility of getting this working w/the alternate(mono backend) version? It just seems to run much more stable for me from what I've seen....but so many of these mods still target the normal cpp2il version....

it seems contradictory but I'm not a programmer so that might be intentional just making sure
Has anyone noticed sometimes not getting XP at night after sleeping with longer days with this mod? I swear I'll do like 6 deals that day of easily over 20 product. When I sleep my summary shows zero though.
This is a game issue, even without mods ive lost so much XP from staying awake at 4am too long whilst i was mixing, cooking and planting im just gonna have to cheat my XP as its a gamebreaking bug what ppl dont seem to talk about
Thanks. I've noticed as long as I only close the game directly after sleeping, and also never save the game and close it in the middle of a day after I've made sales I don't lose any XP anymore. It seems the game loses track of accumulated XP if you close the game before going to bed.
I've been told that it's cosmetic and only messes up the end of day summary and that we're actually still receiving the XP throughout the day like normal. I think that may be true, because I "unlocked" the Packaging Station MkII when I went to sleep one night, but I had already purchased and used it earlier that same game day.
I still make sure not to save and close the game midday though. I don't really like the bugged out summary. I want to see what I've unlocked.
edit: looks like as of 4/10 yes latest branch its now working in multiplayer, all users should have the mod installed with same daytime length (i have 2.0 for extended length) and now its all synced hosts vs clients

but i had some issues the mod read the 2.0 of the config.ini as 20 i just edited to 2 and that works for now

The default config 2.0 makes the days 2x as long
1.5 will make it 1.5x as long
etc.
