hey i like this mod very much, and now i would like to configure it so the colours appear accordingly to the type of product. but here is my problem. there are no .ini files in my mods folders. i use steam version no beta just regular game with vortex mod manager
Edit: nvm i just found out. i was watching in the wrong folder. i was under appdata but i needed to go into the games folder haha
Could you maybe write a mod that shows the different varieties by color? for example, weed = green, meth = red, coke = yellow. would be pretty helpful for multiplayer worksharing =)
One question, I've put the .dll in the plugins folder, started it, and then exited it. Now, how do I configure it? I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, but it doesn't seem to be working for me.
That's the problem, I don't have a mods folder, I downloaded the BepInEx version, I copied it to the /plugins folder as it says, I start it, I exit it, I go to the folder but nothing is created... :/ I'm sorry for being so stubborn with these things... anyway, don't worry.
Forget it, I'm an idiot, it wasn't in the correct version.
1. You have the alternate version of Schedule I. 2. This version of BepInex: https://www.nexusmods.com/schedule1/mods/368 3. Copy the ColoredDeals.dll to this folder: SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Schedule I\BepInEx\plugins and NOT SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Schedule I\Plugins
Due to recent events of malicious mods on here, many users have made the move to Thunderstore for their mods for Schedule I. I'd recommend uploading this one over there as it's a great concept. Not saying your mod is malicious, just some advice. :)
Hello :) Thanks for the info! I haven’t heard about those incidents, but I’ve had a good experience with Nexus so far, so I’ll stay here for now. Appreciate the suggestion though!
You could do a combination of the two. Upcoming deals are grey, active deals are a variety of colors (instead of just green), and expiring deals are all red.
Hm, but then my mod would do exactly the same thing as the other mod, which I don't want.. It would be compatible if the modder of "ThrustGoblin's Color-Coded Contract Compass Markers" also updated the HUD, journal, and map icons (upcoming and expiring deals).

It uses the first 3 colors, I reordered the colorlist.
Marijuana = green
Methamphetamine = red
Cocaine = blue
(color like in the products app)
I never thought the game would be so addictive, and it's also fun to mod for it.
Not sure if a false positive, but wanted to bring awareness regardless.

Okay, let's see if everything is right:
1. You have the alternate version of Schedule I.
2. This version of BepInex:

3. Copy the ColoredDeals.dll to this folder:
SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Schedule I\BepInEx\plugins
and NOT SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Schedule I\Plugins
EDIT: ok great that it now works :)
