Features
  • Adds more police foot patrols to the game

  • Includes a simple tool to make creating new patrols easier
  • Adds a custom amount of officers to each patrol
Installation
  • Install mod loader (Melonloader)
  • Extract the zip file to the base game directory
  • Make sure MoreFootPatrols.dll is in the Mods folder
  • Make sure routes.json is in the UserData folder
  • Optionally edit the routes.json to add your own
  • Launch the game
  • This mod will only work on the main branch for now (I will consider a Mono build in the future)
  • If playing multiplayer, only the host needs this mod!
  • If playing singleplayer, install as directed
Usage
  • The mod should work by itself if installed correctly
  • To make adding new routes easier, I have included a keybind (F6) that will print your current coordinates to the Melonloader console in the correct format for the JSON file. If the json file is not in the correct format as provided in the mod files, this will not work! Double check before messaging me if you are having issues.
Issues
  • The new officers occasionally get stuck, try adjusting your routes if this happens

  • Added more default routes (Credit to xvilho)
  • Added some variety to the appearance of the new officers (more to come, random gender etc)

  • Created police officers now take on appearance of existing officers at random

Update v1.0.3
  • Can now configure the amount of officers on a route with configurable min & max for randomised amounts (Credit to TontonSamael for the idea)
  • Can now configure movement speed multiplier for the officers on each route (this will also make them faster in pursuits, be careful!)
  • Warning: This update will require you to replace or update your routes.json for the new options
