can you add a feature where you can choose which items are allowed to be stored in a storage. just to help with the automation. i wonder why no one ever made that kind of mod.
First thank you for all your work, this mod is amazing to have. Are you able to go higher than say 20 slots and 4 rows on the large storage rack, like are there limits on how high we can set them, Also are you able to currently edit the size of the storage for the wall shelves from the new update? i was looking through the configs and didn't know if it may be tied to something else in the game.
The slot amount is 20 max in the game code, I tried changing it but it resulted in a crash. The rows u can set how many but they'll go off screen at one point. I'll check out the wall shelves tho.
As with every update for your mod so far <3 absolutely awesome. Gonna definitely be using it. Currently attempting to learn to mod myself, not really understanding it all too well. So far nobody has made an automated doors mod, but I'm still hoping lol
Nice! BreadCh4n When you say slot cap removed, like it means we could go over the 20 slots originally it had? Is there a limit that you know of beyond the 20 if so?
you said you broke the 20 slot limit? is that on a specific storage? i set my van and large shelf to 40 slots with 5 rows for a 5x8 setup and its still the 4x5 like before. am i doing something wrong?? i already got rid of all my old configs just in case and redid the numbers but still same results
MY BAD i figured out the problem with a bit of digging, if anybody is using the "betterweapons" mod for guns it is for some reason soaking up all the config files, once i edited everything the way i wanted it i then deleted the betterweapons config so it could "redo" itself with all the new config settings. idk what is up with betterweapons but this is just a PSA for anybody else having issues <3
I was having the same issue but the cause wasn't from betterweapons. I don't use that mod. I never did figure out the cause. I removed all but this mod, set up my config and it worked fine. Then I added my mods 3 at a time, reloading the game each time and checking my storage to confirm it still worked.
I eventually added back every single mod I was previously using and everything still worked. So yeah, no idea but it's fixed.
