Since running the program as instructed game continues to freeze even after reviewing previous comments on how to restore back up saves game continues to freeze. ( Previous comments have mentioned makes sure to delete Products.Json but it seems to appear ever time is launched in created products.)
Due to complexity would not recommend using unless you are will to risk world loss.
1. YOU MUST RUN IT AT THE MAIN MENU WITH THE GAME OPEN OR IT WONT WORK
2. IF YOUR SAVE BREAKS AND YOU NEED TO RESET TO THE BACKUP, YOU NEED TO REPLACE THE BROKEN SAVE WHILE AT THE MAIN MENU
TLDR:
Everything you do with your save game needs to happen while the game is open, but the save is not loaded/mounted THIS IS BECAUSE OF STEAM CLOUD SAVE....
Id imagine most of you are experiencing this issue where you replace your save file, load the game up and nothing changes? Thats because Steam cloud is overwriting your save game with the last one it has, most likely the broken version.
I ran the tool as well to clear the massive list and keep some products, and it completely bricked my save. I tried deleting what the tool did and move back the files from the back up but the game is still freezing when trying to counter-offer, it switches automatically to 20x OG Kush Test and the old big list is not showing after moving the files back.
Completely bugged out my save file, not sure exactly whats happening but it deleted the products as it was supposed to, going to make a specific deal with a specific product i still have causes my game to freeze as if i was in a menu, same with making any deals in person. very strange, i did not create a backup which of course is my fault. However i thought it good to bring this to attention. (this is the only "mod" ive installed)
btw, did you uncheck the "Create Backup..." button on the tool? Cause if not there should be a backup of your save in the ../SaveGame_1/Products location cause the tool creates one.
Mine was bugged out as well, Went to the backup folder, copied all files back into the directory, as well as the Products.json file back to normal. At first, I didn't recognize that the file was in there because I had too many products once, I figured it out, it was gone.
Just so everyone knows. Make sure to remove the products.json from the backup folder if you need to restore. That doesn't belong in the created products folder.
FYI: i had to be ingame and run the .bat in admin mode to delete the product list. Save, Quit, Restart game and it worked.
Tried it first with closed game but CreatedProducts folder got refreshed as soon as u started the game. Have a look at the changed date for your files in your save folder when u Run the application.
Did exactly what I thought all thoses Xs were for and was disappointed they didn't do anything.
Curious? Concerns? Use 'Preview' first.
Due to someone's comment, I'd recommend not having any deals going on when running, just in case. Base strains might be safe to deal? (those don't get deleted) I didn't have any deals going on and it worked like a dream.

I do not recommend this tool currently.
