Thank you! Can you recommend any videos that'll quickly demonstrate how the modding method should work? Never tried modding and I'm not a idiot so I don't need my hand held just need to see how it's done and I can do the rest.
Okay, I got as far as extracting the psks and textures and adding them to blender. Now blender is a lot.. Got so far as the bones and placements but trying to figure out how to transfer the bones onto the new model. I learned a lot in a few hours esp trial and error. I think I'll need an extra day or two to get Blender down pack. My best bet rn is texture changing so I'll see what I can cook up that route before I hit the hay.
Sorry, the process is extremely more complicated than I thought. I scratched the model I was going to replace Bezel with and decided to go with a simple texture mod over the OG body textures.
Got exactly what I wanted but when I transfered to UE (.fbx) I got hit with name conflicts because I had to use some textures multiple times in blender.
Then setting the file structure up and cooking the game boots with a LowLevelFatalError - Missing global shader - FWriteToSliceVS's - permutation 0
This has sent me down a rabbit hole and although I never considered getting into programing and coding, I now have a thrist for knowledge so I'm dedicated to make this happen without handouts. Had I clicked your patreon sooner I wouldn't have become this obsessed with making it happen myself through pure will and comittment😤😠
