I wish this mod would fix some bugs that Sacred Reborn fixes, such as the 65535 damage of each type limit of Combat Arts. I don't particularly like Reborn in the way it rebalances some things (Making some classes super OP and gimped others in endgame)

It is possible to implement separate cooldowns for each combat art or spell and not just for the groups?

Alas, there is no such possibility.

    1. NL_REGKILL_LOAD and NL_REGKILL_FACTOR seem to work only in system mode. Is that intentional?

    2. The secret cache at 3254,2543,0 and the sacred well nearby provide a (seemingly) endless flow of loot (I stopped after 20 items and potions).

My version is labeled NL 2.31, mmg 18.4, 22-08-26

Anyway, great work, great mod. Thank you!

      1) Not only in system mode, but also in cheat mode (NL_MOD_MODE : cheat). That's what it was designed to do.
      2) These are the so-called "Sacred wells" and "Sacred caches". They gravitate to the holy places. This is a feature. You can try to resist the temptation to use them (but it's hard, haha).
I apologize for the late reply...

    Hello,
Thanks for the mod and I finally decided to switch from pureHD to NL instead. The camera levels are mainly what drove me to this and they're great especially considering that you've added many different zoom scales.

    I have two questions though.

    1. Can you save the changes you do while being in-game somehow to the "settingsNL.cfg" through a console command or such?

    2. I don't seem to be able to take damage while riding a horse. Is this some sort of setting I've enabled or is it a bug?
I did compare with vanilla sacred and pureHD but there I do take damage as usual.
EDIT: Seems this was just during one session so I must have activated something somehow or it just got bugged.
EDIT 2: It seems I block every attack for some reason like I'm invincible. Any reason why this occurs?
Only fix I've found so far is to restart the game as loading the save or switching character does nothing.

Finally I'd like to request something if it's possible. I've noticed that the Inventory position seems to be placed differently in both NL and pureHD. It's position it very different depending on resolution. I have a 1440p monitor and the UI is very small. With  dgVoodoo the UI seems to maintain it's size regardless of resolution. At the moment I am running it 1366x768 with the resolution set to 2x in dgVoodoo.

If you are using coordinates for the inventory position by any chance I'm wondering if you could make that a public setting?

Cheers and again, a great mod and thanks for your contribution.

      1) Many of the settings changed during the game are saved themselves in the configuration file.
      2) If you play in cheat mode, invulnerability is available (Ctrl+L)
      3) Carefully examine the hotkeys on the extended help (Crtl+H)
      4) I strongly recommend to read in full the file "ChangeLog-EN.doc".
      5) The parameter of the configuration file
      NL_NEW_LAYOUT_INTERFACE_WINDOWS : 1
places the interface differently, more conveniently
      6) set 1366x768 and stretch 2x in dgVoodoo is the most correct solution to leave a good size interface

Thank you for all your answers.

      1. I see. I asked as some settings such as the portrait feature seemed to always reset.
      2. I don't believe I accidently enable invulnerability mode but I will keep it in mind.
      3. This is a great feature which is what I've used in order to customize the UI more.
      4. I'll try to read it through carefully as I'll admit I have not examined it in detail.
      5. I'll try the new layout again. The only bothering thing was that the stat screen was so far away from the inventory mainly.
      6. Cheers. I'll do some more tests as I do find 720p 2x for fallout makes the absolute best in order to keep pixel perfection, but now when I think about it, Sacred due to it's zoom probably lacks it + it's 3d models.

Cheers for the reply again and I appreciate all the hard work you're doing.

Hello, I'm very concerned about item 5, which says that the statistics window was far away from the inventory window! Is there any way you can show a screenshot of this? and please explain what "far from the inventory" means?

Hello, of course but I do think it works as intended but just a matter of taste in the end. I personally prefer buttons and windows being somewhat closer as I want to move my mouse as little as possible (huge reason why I love window management in games, alas they are rare).

Here's the UI with 1366x768 2x in dgVoodoo:
      Sacred UI with: NL_NEW_LAYOUT_INTERFACE_WINDOWS : 1

EDIT: I will have to reply further tomorrow as I have work. I'll get back to you.

Creating the ability to place the interface window in any location (at the request of the user) is very difficult to implement. Many coordinates are hardwired into the game code. I do change them, but I do it statically. Make these changes dynamic is difficult, because you would need to write (for each static change) stub function. And such functions would be several hundreds (by the number of edits in the code).
Although the idea of customizable placement of interface windows is very good!

Do you think those static coordinates is something that could be available in the settingsNL.cfg?
So in other words have static placements available and not a dynamic window as I understand that would be a very tedious task.

Mod pureHD is practically a vanilla version of the game, but with the ability to install any resolution and fixing many bugs in the game. Mod NL except listed has a large number of "pluses" and "bells and whistles" (three interface styles, new look windows, dynamic sound and text, new quest "Traveller" on the world map, three modes, advanced help, multi-stage and smooth zoom, and much more).

If I'm not mistaken the game has never been automatic raise items. The hero picks up items by pressing A. You can configure what to raise in the Settings window: all / gold + unics / gold...
