Note to usersWhile most people won't have problems, there are some potential issues to be aware of. Because this mod changes a hard coded trigger points, it should to be installed prior to getting married (within the first 6 days of your first child being born should also work). The mod is looking for a specific day for each event, if you've passed that day, the event will never trigger. Unfortunately, these setting are baked in and removing the mod after the fact won't fix the issue. Removing the mod won't fix the issue, but installing a different version that changes those days seems to.

If you've installed previously and had issues, my apologies. Reverting to a save prior to marriage will allow the mod to play out as intended. Alternately, removing the mod and reverting to a save prior to install will restore the vanilla timeline. See below for some additional options.

    EDIT:

I've added several; new optional files for flexibility and to help those few people who might find themselves stuck after installing the main file.

Fate hoping while between stages can have unforeseen consequences due to the time shifts. To have as few issues as possible I'd really recommend not jumping at all between marriage and having your first child. Ideally, sticking to one path until you've had your second child (or are content with possible only having one) will present the fewest issues.

If the conversation for you first child or the pregnancy/wish fulfillment discovery events won't fire because the mod was installed too late and you have no earlier save to revert to, don't continue sleeping. Remove the main mod and install the Oh Crap version. Progress till 10 days have passed since marriage/first child conversation and they should trigger. At that point, you can remove and revert to the main/optional file of choice.

If the conversation for the second child won't fire because it was installed too late, remove the main mod and install whichever optional file is greater than, but close to, your first child's age. If they are between 21-29 days, use the Oh Crap version. Past 30 days, you will have to revert to an older save. So, please...

    BACK UP YOUR SAVES.

Well, I think I fucked up. I swear I installed this after my first child. Because I didn't start modding until I beat the first part of the story. I, however, did not read and kept thinking where's my 2nd child. Might speed through my Fubuki save even if I'm painfully behind on that, but I did just marry him on that save so it should work. Might use that as my marry everyone save and see all the kids. Thanks for this mod. It's wonderful and I'm just dumb.

It happens to the best of us. You can try the Oh Crap edition reset the clock, if you have a save that's within 9 days of having your first kid. Or, if you can give me an exact number of days since your first kid was born, I can shoot you an edited version for that. ,

Hi! Thanks so much for making this mod!!
Quick question, I'm on on a different rewoven fates timeline, and in the other timeline I did already have a child...the current timeline I'm in I have not yet married yet, but do you know if this would cause issues if I were to install if I jump back into my other timeline? (i.e, if I wanted to go back to the other timeline where I am already married and have a child).

Maybe yes, maybe no. I wish I could give a firmer answer, but it depends on where you are exactly in your game. If your first child is under 7 days old, it should be fine. You haven't missed the day the game is looking for to trigger the prompt to have your 2nd. If they are older than that, I would remove the mod (before returning to that save at all) until you have your next child. After that, you can put it back and not worry going forward.

I haven't been able to find a way to get around this issue yet, so I may put up a few other variations for people in similar situations. In the meantime, be sure to back up your saves, just to be safe.

Gotcha - I'll backup my save, test it out, and let you know!

I tested it out, and if you are within the window that you specified after the first child, it does proc the second child correctly within the timeframe - due to the nature of rewoven fates the days were a little confusing to figure out (since it carries over your current status to the alternate timeline, so it was hard to tell if it had been 7 days or less). On one of my timelines I think it was longer than 7 days after the first child because I zoomed through a full month and got no second child prompt. However, another timeline it did proc the second child, because I recall hopping to a new timeline the day after the first child's birth event.
It looks like if your first child hasn't had the

, you should be good to go with the mod working properly for the second child.

I'm currently updating to add several variations that only affect the gap between the first and second child (7, 14, 21 days). I've only been able to test with the 1st>2nd child, but installing the 14 day after intentionally locking myself out restored the conversation on day 14. Hopefully, it works across the board.

So, that gives a few more options if your first child is older than the initial 7 days.

Thank you SO much for this! I've been doing rewoven fates and waiting the month in between children is so agonizingly long lol

Thank you. A month after the first child is wild, considering this is post-game stuff. 😭

I don't suppose it would be possible to remove the "must have completed story" flag, would it? Some marriage candidates can be married long before the story is over, but you won't ever get asked for kids until it's over.

Maybe shift the flag to the second kid since I think both kids need to be born for the post-game plot, right?

We've been looking for that flag, but haven't found it yet. It's definitely on the list of things we're trying to accomplish.

Insofar as children go, I haven't made it to the post-game yet. I've heard that you only need one and I've heard that you need both. It may be a matter of timing. Regardless, when one of us stumbles across a way to make marriage and kids more accessible, it'll be here.

Just got to post game myself with only one child so, Definitely don't need two. ..... I am crying that this mod showed up today though. I just slugged through the wait for the first child yesterday. At least I get to take advantage of the time reduction for number 2. I probably wouldn't have made it a month before dropping the game.

A month is wild considering it comes after a multi-year time skip. If it were a mainline RF game with deep post-game content, it would make sense. But, this meant to be an 80 hour game, not a 200 hour grind.
