    ~~hey ive been trying to edit the thing in an text editor but ive got no clue what im doing, id like to set it so grid lock is always on since ive hear there are issues once you unlock the extra rune~~

    Do you plan on fixing the bug where it won't work after getting new rune slots? It's so frustrating how it will all but let me place it after getting the upgrade.

      Just use the configuration menu and set always enabled (I think it is called at least) to true

    I would legitimately pay $10 for someone to make a mod where the double bed could be moved to the vacation homes so we don't have to live in an attic/hallway XD

    I can't seem to get it to work, no matter what I do :/ I'm new to modding so I'm not really familiar with the process. I downloaded and extracted all the files to the correct location, but I've restarted the game maybe 10 times now and I haven't been able to get it to work. Any help would be appreciated!

      You can find the instruction at description tab of this mod.

      Its very simple.
      You will need to install first if you do not have installed:
      .NET Frameork 6.0 => Just donwload and install.

      After that you will need donwload the latest version of BepInEx:
      Site OR Direct Link #665


      P.S. Firtst click at #665 to open download options and get the BepInEx Unity (IL2CPP) for Windos (x64) games.

      Extract all the files to you Rune Factory 5 game's instalation folder (if using Steam Right click RF5 on Steam):


      Disable RF5 Config Launcher start before the game:


      Start the game and wait a little at title screen. Only the first time BepInEx will generating all configs files. So just wait a little. The time depends on your computer specs. And it will not show you any notifications, nothing. Really just WAIT.

      After wait a little closes the game.

      Extract this mod at:
      Rune Factory 5\BepInEx\plugins

      Now just start the game and enjoy ;)

      Did you happen to have RF5fix installed as well? I was in the same position as you as well so I decided to verify my game and delete the other mods like RF5 fix from my game directory and then follow the instruction in the mod page and got it to work. I have to forgo the RF5 Fix changes though.

      @maplegamer RF5Fix is a great mod but unfortunatelly now it is a bit outdated =(
      The mod already includes the BepInEx but an old version: BepInEx 6.0.0-be.577
      The Artifact build 577 is the latest one that uses .NET Framework. After this build, BepInEx changed the framework to .NET 6.0 instead .NET Framework.
      So it makes all mods for version 577 or lower incompatible with newer versions of BepInEx. The authors need update their mods to make it working.

      The reason you and the others are having problems is that they are tring using mods incompatible with the version of BepInEx.
      So you have to choose update your BepInEx version and update the mods you are using or you can stay using old version of BepInEx but you have to use mods made for the older versions. Mods most updated will be incompatible. And the same with newer versions.

      I updated all my mods to work with newer versions of BepInEx.

      One tip is to check the BepInEx folders. BepInEx version 577 or lower uses the old version of BepInEx and it cames with the folder BepInEx and one folder named: mono
      The newer versions of BepInEx, cames with BepInEx folder and the other folder is named dotnet.

      It is recommended always uses updated versions. But you still can choose between older or newer versions of BepInEx. But you will have to always check if the mod is made for older or newer versions.

      Thank you for the clarification! I decided to use your mod since I don't use much of the RF 5 fix but I would probably need to take note of what you reply just in case I decide to do a replay since some of the old mods like Chara Unlocker only works on older BepInEx. Still thank you for the reuploaded to make this work with the latest BepInEx.

      zonde306, the Author's of Chara Unlocker Mod always share with us their mod's source. So its really easy make it compatible with newer versions of BepInEx.

      I sent a Merge Request to him, with the changes to their Git repository.
      Since it have only one Master branch idw it will accept the merge, cause it will replace their version that works with BepInEx Artifact build 577 and lower.
      The best way is he/she creates another branch to the updated version.

      Btw lets wait his/her answer ;)

      Just great, now I know how to insatall mods without messing something. :D
      Okay - if mono folder exists then mod is incompatible with new Bep, time to check how many mods will be working in a combo with your mod as a core :D

    O meu simplesmente não funciona. A pasta config não aparece  e mesmo se eu segurar shift, ainda assim não consigo colocar a mobília onde quiser.

    hello i play on steam deck. im guessing i would need to use linux version of bepinex since thats what steamos uses. would that still work for this mod? i downloaded the windows version but no config folder was made. then i installed the linux one and still no confid folder made.. thanks

      It's the Windows version of the game, so you use the Windows version of Bepinex, specifically the IL2CPP x64 version, as is mentioned on the description page here. Just extract it to the game directory, which is at steamapps/common/Rune Factory 5, then add 

      WINEDLLOVERRIDES="winhttp=n,b" %command%

      to the Launch Parameters in Properties.

      Then run the game and it should work.

      Okay, that's what it does. Thank you for updating this mod and showcasing your other ones. I was also wondering if you could update other outdated mods such as "Taming Always Succeeds"? Or could you give me some guidance on how to code .dll files? I'm not very good at this sort of thing.

    Obrigada pelos seus mods ! Legal ver um brasileiro postando mods para o Rune Factory 5, é uma franquia tão de nicho kkkkkkkkkk. Uma pergunta, eu estava olhando um mod aqui no Nexus chamado Taming Always Succeeds, mas ele está desatualizado, você teria interesse em fazer uma versão mais atualizada que nem esse mod e o seu de pescaria ? Pergunto porque depois de um tempo pegar as galinhas e as vaquinhas torna-se um grinding horrível kkkkkkkkkkkkk. Claro que isso não é uma imposição ;) . Mais uma vez obrigada pelos mods, são super essenciais para mim !

      Que bom que gostou dos mods, é sempre gratificante ver que vocês estão gostando ;)
      Eu faço mods dos jogs que eu gosto e jogo ;)
      Eu sei qual mod é esse, do zonde306 . Infelizmente ele colocou para não utilizarmos seu mod, mas deixou o código fonte para gente criar nosso próprio ;)
      Vou dar uma verificada para você e ver se consigo fazer o mesmo para a versão atual do BepInEx :D

      But he/she said not allow us change the mods without permission, so i will not post here, sorry.
      I am going to read the source zonde posted and try making one compatible with newer versions of BepInEx.

      Nossa, eu era louca para jogar Rune Factory, quando saiu no PC fiquei louca, agora estou aguardando sair o terceiro que dizem que é muito bom ! Muito obrigada por considerar minha solicitação, estou mega feliz agora, tomara que você consiga kkkkkkkkkkkkkk, pense numas vaquinhas e galinhas chatas (muitos saves recarregados) xD

    Happy people like you keep rf5 mods alive , but i have a question is better use the newest BeplnEx?, i mean during my gameplay  close to arc 1 end , terry speak about his agency request board & this mini cutcene trigger a bug who freeze in black screen soo my question the newest BeplnEx versions fix this problem ? or not because if no i kinda preferer the old version to use all mods i want , still you did a great port

      Unfortunatelly just the BepInEx doesn`t fix or change nothing on any game.
      BepInEx is just a framework, a library, humm... is just something you can use the many features it already offears us to make all changes we want on our mods. So i can use the functions already made to make my own logic code to do what i need.

      I always recommend everyone uses the latest versions, because they always comes with much more features and performance upgrades.
      Sometimes it changes the way you have to code, or the way the features you can use. Because this some mods can be incompatible with newer versions and must be updated.

    Just use the older version of this mod. RF5Fix is practically mandatory for any playthrough of RF5, so as of right now (RF5fix 0.14) this mod is completely pointless and serve pretty much zero purpose other than crashing peoples game when they inevitably try to run it with RF5fix

      Never go to any authors mod and say that is pointless. RF5Fix is not mandatory and it is outdated. This is the reason i updated it.
      And it is always better use updated versions of everything. Updates are made to fix bugs of older versions and implements new features and make it runs much better.

      Your game crashes because you can't even read the mod requirements and instructions.

      So i do not allow you see any other my content.
