    Hey, Thanks for trying to keep the mod alive with the version changes.

    I hadn't touched Roots of Pacha in a while, as I've been very busy, but found some time to update the original version, even with some new features and with some missing ones.

    I Included with it the source code (updated) for those of you who want to know how the mod is made, and keep it up to date, Feel free to update your mod again if I disappear for a while.

    I'd be happy to try and work on this mod if you want to collaborate. I'm in a similar place with regards to skill but have some time (and inclination) on my hands.

    I can't place tree saplings with this mod, it keeps throwing a "NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object" error while holding a sapling. I know you said you probably can't fix anything, but I thought I'd share this anyways. The specific error is as follows:

    Quality_of_Life_Farming_Changes.Patches.TreeEntityPatches.CanPlaceHere_Postfix (SodaDen.Pacha.TreeEntity __instance, System.ValueTuple`2[System.Boolean,System.String]& __result, UnityEngine.Vector2 position) (at <60796637679949728b88ca3edc466068>:0)

    (wrapper dynamic-method) SodaDen.Pacha.TreeEntity.DMD<SodaDen.Pacha.TreeEntity::CanPlaceHere>(SodaDen.Pacha.TreeEntity,UnityEngine.Vector2)
    (wrapper dynamic-method)
    MonoMod.Utils.DynamicMethodDefinition.Glue:ThiscallStructRetPtr<SodaDen.Pacha.TreeEntity::CanPlaceHere,DMD<SodaDen.Pacha.TreeEntity::CanPlaceHere>>(SodaDen.Pacha.TreeEntity,System.ValueTuple`2<bool, string>&,UnityEngine.Vector2)

      Ah, thank you for letting me know regardless! Hmm... I would suggest, until someone else comes along that can help me fix it, place your saplings with the mod completely removed (so, the .dll isn't in the "plugins" folder at all), and when you place them, save (since you can do that without it being at the end of the day now!), quit, and put the mod .dll back in the "plugins" folder and see if that circumvents this error!

      That's what my plan is currently. I was leaving this here for anyone else using the mod so that they would know and hopefully someone will know how to fix it. I don't think I could enjoy the game without this mod honestly so thanks for updating it.

      Ah, I appreciate the thanks! I'm the same: I couldn't play without the original, and it wasn't being updated, so I figured I'd just do it somehow... I just wish I knew how to properly fix it, hahaha. But at least most things work, I think! But I sincerely appreciate the thanks. I was afraid that people had given up on the other mod and wouldn't see this one at all. But as long as I can make one person's experience somewhat better, then the months of work was worth it.

      Just wanted to add my two cents to this, had the same problem and the workaround seems to work as far as I can tell, the trees I tested with aren't old enough to see if anything else is wrong with them but it worked even with the other settings not getting messed up in the short span of not having the mod in, (I tested it while I had larger than vanilla stacks and out of season crops growing). Thanks so much for making this mod, I like the updates the game is making but unfortunately the modders seem to have mostly moved on for things like this, I appreciate the effort.
