Huge thanks to crubino for this mod! This mod works perfectly for the Classic armor version. However, for those that don't want the blue hue on the gloves when using the RoboCop 2 version, this updated mod by DMClues fixes that, and also works for the Classic version as well: Robocop 2 Glossy and Black Gloves
Unfortunately, there is still dark blue/navy blue color on the gloves when using the RoboCop 2 armor, and you can clearly see that blue color when you are under light sources. Can you update this mod and make the gloves fully pitch black and glossy? Would be INCREDIBLY appreciated, Chris. 🙏
I'm afraid they are not glossy by default. Also, the gloves on the R2 skin by default are dark blue (or navy blue whatever you wanna call it). You can notice this when the gloves are under brighter lightings in the game.
Hi, I'm sorry for being so late to respond. I fell asleep.... lol
I can confirm this will affect both of them (Classic Skin and RC2 Skin). Actually they were using the same texture map for Roughness and Metallic. They only use different Diffuse (color) maps .... xxxD01 for Classic Skin (based on Grey color textures), and xxxD02 for RC 2 Skin (based on Blue color textures). xxx = chest, arm, shoulder, thigh, helmet... etc. D = Diffuse color map 01 = Classic Skin 02 = RC 2 Skin ORM = Occlusion (R), Roughness (G), Metallic (B) (UE's RGB packed PBR map file texture).
I have a question regarding the scanlines in the game when holding the aim button. Is it possible to make a mod that always shows the scanlines only when you control Robo and not in the cutscenes without needing to use reshade?
I know there is a scanlines mod released already. But unfortunately on that mod, the scanlines are always on, even in cutscenes, and you must use reshade for it to work.
CyberdyneSystemsModel101 You can toggle the Reshade preset on and off via custom hotkey in the Reshade "Settings" menu. I thing that's about the only way. Works just fine.
Yeah, I noticed. I guess it have to do for now. I would’ve like to be able to have the toggle button mapped on a controller button though since I don’t play on keyb+mouse.
I'm guessing this only affects the gloves? I ask because the same kevlar material they say is used for him in the film is also used for the jaw guard and lower torso section of his body, so, could it also be applied to those parts too?
