This is very nice. Would you be able to improve the Robocoop 2 armor to make it even bluer? The one currently in the game tries to match the movie, but I think it would be cooler if the suit he has matches like a police blue. Thanks for the mod regardless.

A mod where it turns Robocop into the 2014 movie model would be great! Same design! Dark painted RoboCop with that red vision eye design! Can't wait for this!

Like I said before, It would need a dedication to remodel it ;)
Need huge time to detailing it.

Also, the problem now is how to creating Master Material and inject it to UE5.2 game, as the current default Master Material for Robocop can't be customize.
To import Skeleton mesh in RCC is easy (only need huge time to re-model and rigging your original 3D model). But we need a time to figure out how to add custom material into RCC (as Epic change materials work on UE5.2 and newer version)

Didn't get to see the notification of your comment until now for some reasons lol! But THANK YOU for your reply! And thanks for your continuously working on this project for sure! Hopefully, that day come true and you guys are able to pull that off!

BUT quick question though. How about the same original model, but in dark theme. Can you guys do that? Which would include red vision bar? If so, I'd pay for this lol. I am committed!

I'd love to see this too, but I understand how challenging it might be.

    Hello !

This very interesting mod brings one big question : Could you create a Robocop 1 movie accurate armor please ?
Many folks including me claims that the vanilla armor is not correct just like the Robobcop 2 one DLC.
So I think that it is a public interest to solve the issue if you got what it takes !

    Thanks.

      Hi,

      Yupe, I agreed with you.
But the problem is that will need more dedication and time to do it. It will need time to re-model it, re-texturing, re-rigging, re-weight painting, etc. And as it is modding process, sometimes it can more painful than developing a game from scratch ;)

Unfortunately,  now I no longer spend too much my time for modding. I only use my spare time (mostly during week-end) to doing "lite modding" stuff (less than 1 hour for each mod).
Since this difficult time, I have dedicate most all of my time to working to support my family.

Let's hope somebody out there can hear us, and dedicate his/her time to start creating the accurate Armor version for Robocop. :)

      Happy gaming and cheers,
      Chris

Nice of you to share all this stuff !
I can't do that myself but sharing that opens a lot of doors, we'll get to something one day I'm sure !

How do you re-texture the suit? I'd love to learn how to do this and help upload some extra skins.

Yeah, after I beat Robocop on Extreme difficulty I deserve that Golden Robocop and Auto 9 skin xD

Sadly I was dissapointed by the easy difficulty, It would be nice to have changed difficulty, the enemies later should be harder. But just 2x damage and health to enemies would be nice.

That would be a good mod:
    Easy is now Extreme difficulty
Normal is Extreme x1.5 (enemies 150% heath, they make 150% damage)
Hard is Extreme x2  (enemies 200% heath, they make 200% damage)
Extreme is Extreme x3  (enemies 300% heath, they make 300% damage)

I agree with Tommy, we need an accurate color film of the first and second film if possible

Also agree. And the hands/gloves need to be pitch black on both the default skin, and the RoboCop 2 skin.
Right now, the gloves are dark gray on the default skin, and dark blue on the R2 skin.

I can provide pics of the hands/gloves. They are also more glossy in the two movies than in the game.

      @Cyberdyne:
Ah, I see it now. Thanks for the info.
I made a simple and quick texture maps for it. You may try from here:

Yeah, It still far-away from prefect. I'm still try to figure out how to add custom materials to UE5.2 game mod, I have tried many method but still failed. Therefore, I can't re-create the proper shading for the armor.

Good pictures, not to mention that however in the movie during TV reports the colors of the screens are so faded that Robocop appears metalic grey like in the game so at least it's safe to say that in the prerendered TV videos of the game the grey armor is not bothering !

UE5 is so brand new that the modding community will take time to comprehend it and developping custom tools.
But your work seems promising, you'll progress if you can stick to it.
That shiny armor is very movie alike, I found that ingame the armor material looks different from the movie
