Hello, I love this mod so much I use it in other games, its look great and the toggle shake effect helps a lot, I would like to ask you how to remove or adjust the circle camera effect because in some games like Anno 2205, your mod looks GREAT but its hide some in-game icons, I know how to enlarge the screen I change FitScreen=1 to 0 and to remove the shake I change USE_LensShake=1 to 0 if there any way to make the screen just normal size? Thank you. I know that lots to ask because you didn't build this mod for other games but your help will be appreciated, I use this mod almost in every game I have, works great on Starfield, believe it or not, just disable the shake and add some Lut and the game almost look realistic.
Not sure what you are talking about "circle" effect, vignette maybe ? just toggle LENS SHADOW off. For a normal screen without distortion just toggle LENS DISTORTION off
Thanks for the quick reply. Yeah, bUseLensDistortion=0 makes the screen full. I can now see all in-game icons. Great mod by the way; like I said, I use it in all my games.
Hello! Great preset. Looks really awesome! I just had one question. Is it normal that it is so heavy on performance? Without the preset i got about 120 fps with my 4090 (4K,Max Settings), with FG nearly constant 141. As soon as a activate the preset it goes down to 75 fps (With FG about 85). Is this normal or maybe i do something wrong? Anyway great Job !!!
Hard to say, there is a lot going on under the hood and the more you raise the resolution the more work it loads not only on the GPU but also the CPU. Everybody may experience different performance hit, on my end I play 2K and it's fine, It costs me something around 20 fps. Something I noticed about modern unreal engine games and reshade is that performances are always crap when game isn't running in full screen mode.
I'm using the Special K mod to add HDR to the game which adds a "dxgi.dll" to the same folder. Is there a way to use this mod without overwriting my current dxgi.dll file?
You can try his current dxgi.dll (without mine) and see if it works, and if it doesn't try to rename my dxgi.dll into d3d12.dll or just simply try my own dxgi.dll with his mod. If none of this 3 solutions work then I don't know.
Do you mean you'd like a darker preset for the night ? If you'd like you can open the menu with end key, untick performance mode from the bottom left corner of the window, and in the recorded_lite.fx shader either raise the aperture from the LENS category (default is 2.8), it's at the very begining of the shader settings, or untick "Link Aperture to Exposure".
I checked it in the game - it's amazing. The immersion effect is much improved. Unlike similar reshades in other games, the fisheye effect here is not so intrusive and is very appropriate. The picture has become much more realistic and clearer. The only request is to reduce the camera shake, please, it is too strong. Still, I think robocop has some kind of gyroscope for this case, otherwise it becomes problematic to aim)
Thank you. You can soften it by yourself, just open the menu with end key, untick performance mode from the bottom right part of the window, unroll recorded_lite.fx if it's not already, and under the LENS category, look for LENS motion, you'll find a setting called "Lens Motion Amplitude" with 2 set of values, just lower them while keeping them in proportion with together. Default is 0.7 - 2.0, so try something like 0.4 - 1.2 for instance. Once you are good with the changes, save with the little floppy disk icon from the upper right corner of the window, re tick performance mode and that's it, enjoy !
Thank you very much! I set the value to 0.400 and 1.300 - perfect in my opinion, and I also lowered the sharpness from 10 to 5 and the image became much more pleasing to the eyes. The preset is wonderful, thank you for your work and responsiveness!
