More realistic armpits for Lara. Wet and stubbly.

How to use:
— Install Resorep, after having installed a 64-bit version of Java first.
— Run Resorep and configure it to hook when Rottr.exe (being a 64-bit file) is started.
— Put this mod’s two texture files into Resorep’s “modded” folder in order to have Resorep replace the original files by these ones when running the game.
— Run the game in DirectX 11 mode (which is set by default).

As far as I’ve understood, Resorep is a tool that steps in when the game tries to hand over its textures to the graphics card. Resorep intercepts them and will replace them by your order. It seems to work with DirectX 11 only.

A brief description of how to make a mod like this:
— In Resorep, enable modder’s mode in order to have it grab and dump the textures used while the game is running. Load the game at a position where those textures you wish to modify are in use.
— In the stack of grabbed textures, find the needles you’re looking for.
— Open the textures to be modified with Photoshop using the Intel DDS plugin. As far as I see, Photoshop with Intel plugin is the only programme being able to encode dds files as is required by the game. Use those encoding options that match the original filesize exactly. For the colour map (11.184.972 Bytes) I used “BC1, 4bpp, sRGB”, for the normal map (11.184.952 Bytes) I used “BC1, 4bpp, linear”. (When modifying normal maps, note that the game uses them with inverted colours.)

I claim no copyright in the modification I’ve made; feel free to distribute it.
