      You'll will need:

      1. Audacity
      2. Arctool
      3. MT Framework - Sound tool

I might try linking them later.

      Audacity: Audacity ® | Downloads (audacityteam.org)

Arctool: ARC unpacker/repacker (v0.9.428) | (boards.net) (Be sure to get the PC Bats files and the Artcool.exe)

MT Framework - Sound tool: MT Framework - Sound Tool | (boards.net)

I'll try explaining the process tomorrow. I'm tired for today.

Sorry for taking so long to respond. Here's my instructions.

      1. Decide which gun's audio you want to replace check RE:REV ARC List | (boards.net) for the name of your desired arc file.

Since I'm looking for Government Handgun I want the wp1010.arc file.

      2. Go to Resident Evil Revelation's start page and click on the gear icon. Then highlight manage and click "browse local files" to get the game's directory.

      3. Then follow this directory to find your .arc file folder. (nativePC\archive\game\chara\wp)

      4. Open your desired folder to find your .arc file. For me it's: nativePC\archive\game\chara\wp\wp1010

      5. Back up that .arc file in case you make mistake.

      6. Now put that .arc file where you have the Arctool and its .bat files.

      7. Next, drag and drop your .arc file onto pc-rev.bat

It should have created a new folder and text file. DO NOT delete these! They are needed to repack the .arc file.

      8. Open the new folder and look for your sound files. For me, it's: wp1010\sound\se\wp\wp1000\wav

The sound files are in .XSEW format.

      9. To open them, use audacity and find the one you want to edit. For me, it's wp1000_wep_fire_c_.xsew

      10. Open the sound file in Audacity and import your sound file. Make sure your sound file matches the duration of the orginal .XSEW. On the bottom left, set your Project Rate to 48,000 HZ

      11. Delete the original audio and export your project as .WAV set at (Signed 16-bit PCM).

      12. Open MTFSoundTool.exe and head to the Sound Converter tab to import your new .WAV file.

13.Now, save your .WAV as an .XSEW file.

14.Next, Replace the original .XSEW file and title your .XSEW to the origianl. EX:wp1000_wep_fire_c_

      15. After that, drag the folder you have extracted onto pc-rev.bat. This will repack it into an .ARC file.

      16. Finally, replace the new .ARC file in the game's directory where we originally found it. Launch the game and test it out!
