I know...I know, yet another game where I bring my own OC over. I can't blame you for getting tired of this.
My intention for this one? After seeing the new VR-Mod for RE7, my mind kept telling me one specific question.
Would custom models work with the new VR-Mode? And to my surprise it actually does.
So for this occasion this will be the first (and presumably the last) game, where you can play as Ryder from his own eyes. Either in VR or not.
His "Tanktop and Jeans"-Outfit is used here.
For real...getting the arms to work was a pain since for some reason the UVs of the arms modified themselves unknowingly, applying the textures more weirdly than expected. You will also notice that the arms are cut off on some edges because I wanted the arms to be their own part like with Ethan himself and I literally seperated them through the UV in Blender without making an effort to fix these empty lines. I did this since I wanted Ryder to inherit many of the arm injuries that Ethan suffers from throughout the game...and the legs too to make for a more realistic setting.
I even went ahead and changed the meshes of the item versions of the cut off limbs to Ryder's.
You may encounter minor texture issues while playing through the Guest House-Section of the game, mostly the left arm once it gets sawn off. After that it should fix itself once you reach the main house.
Enjoy your adventure from the eyes of an conscious zombified auto mechanic ;)
